Chapter 15 of my new story is done. It's only three thousand words at the moment, but I haven't gone through it yet. On to Chapter 16... and wrapping it up.   Toughest process I've ever had, but I'm getting it done.

Got mine a couple weeks ago. They used a nice sharp pointy needle. I asked specifically 'cause the bent rusty ones hurt.

I made cinnamon-pecan baked oatmeal with stewed apples for breakfast this morning.

Got mine today! I went to the pharmacy to get it, filled out my form, gave it to the woman at the counter and sat down to wait. Two others came after me... well after me... and they were called before me. Okay... so I went up to the counter and asked if my form had been misplaced because it wasn't being done in order of arrival... I was very nice, but she was unnecessarily bitchy. "You have to be patient, and wait your turn," she said. I told her I was being patient... I didn't say anything about the first one, but the second had me concerned for my form. I then said I was being reasonable, all she had to do was say sorry for getting the order wrong, since she was the one who took the forms. She responded that she was busy and didn't have time for 'this.' I responded that my time was important too. Twenty minutes later, my name was finally called. It's a different world.

Well this has been one hell of a day

Today I finished my physical therapy a good thing

I boke my glasses I will see if I can get them fix before we have to go

Broken glasses are a pain in the ass... especially if you sit on them... the voice of experience from a couple of years ago   bit of an ouch moment

I lost my favorite glasses in the fall, a few years back, and found them in the paddock in the spring, along the fence line where I throw the hay. They were still okay.

I'm lucky in a way...

I have needed reading glasses for the past 25 years or so. Every time I needed a new pair my optician would charge me €100 or more (actually Irish Pounds when I first started needing them) for a pair that didn't make me look like Clark Kent. I mentioned to her one day that I could buy reading glasses for £1 a pair in the discount stores in the UK. She told me that normally she would tell her clients not to buy them, as usually a person has one eye significantly stronger (or weaker) than the other, and the ones in the discount shops always had both lenses the same strength. But she suggested I go ahead and buy them, as both my eyes are so similar in strength that it would not matter. She just told me to make I got the correct strength ones.

I buy 4 or 5 of the £1 pairs each time I visit relatives in England, so don't have to worry about breaking them any more. So now I only need to visit the optician to have my eyes tested. I even keep a few pairs in the car, just in case. And nowadays they're available in different shapes and colours, so I can even choose a pair for special occasions, if need be.

My aunt finally left. I don't like feeling torn like this, pull in two different directions, feelings so strongly opposite. The kids have changed, they're teens now.

I have been known to have several pairs in my pocket when I am out for the night, and do something like change from, say, pink framed ones to blue framed ones whilst using the restroom part way through the evening...
