Purchased four amaryllis bulbs to force bloom for the holidays. Three different varieties, all red. Two bulbs are Double Dragon, the variety I grew last year. They are large deep red double flowers with multiple stems and blossoms. I'll give one of those to the neighbors, they really liked ours last year. The other bulbs are newer varieties. Inferno, another large double flowered type and Rapido, which is a smaller variety that has multiple stems. It will be fun to see what they are like.

I've had that same problem with ingredients. I look at a block of cheese, and say "What was I going to cook with this?" I guess I need to write a list of recipes, including components.

Did you know, Finn Wolfhard had his own band? It's called "Calpurnia", but they recently announced they were splitting up. The music is still good, though.

I found a small wheel of Gouda cheese in the fridge that had gone unused. At some point, a tiny hole was torn in the shrink wrap. It was still edible, but very dry with a bitter aftertaste. almost like a Raclette. Cheese does funny things as it ages.

Apologies Albert, it seems as if your rain was delivered here

Not a lot but enough to get rid of the smoke haze and make things breathable. I hope the east coast gets some soon. their air is really crappy at the moment. Worse than Delhi and Beijing

Here at mum's in SC we can actually plant the bulbs outdoors in late Spring and they will bloom the following year. Provided they get enough moisture over the summer.
