Black soap worked well against the bugs. Though Gary shouldn't be bother with rabbits with all his cats, but if so I'm sure they wouldn't mind making more babies (the cats not the rabbits though from Albert's experience they do too) Dried blood works to keep rabbits away and is also a good fertilizer. Coyote urine works too, but is more expensive. Gary could always pee around the garden himself... 7

Site Administrator Popular Post Valkyrie Posted February 8, 2020 Site Administrator Popular Post Posted February 8, 2020 I'm off to the doctor's shortly. I'm having minor surgery today. Nothing dire, but it needs to be done. Wish me luck because it's done under local, not general anesthesia. Hopefully I won't feel them putting the stitches in. Bleh. 6 2

My procedure on Wednesday was done under local. I was told I could watch the monitors showing the process of the catheter as they threaded it up my arm towards my heart if I wished. I most certainly didn't wish! 3 4

Site Administrator Popular Post Valkyrie Posted February 8, 2020 Site Administrator Popular Post Posted February 8, 2020 Thanks, everyone I was only there a half hour, so the procedure was very quick and relatively painless. I have to go back in two weeks to get the stitches out. No cheesecake, Clo, but I did stop and get some Dove dark chocolate peanut butter bites when I picked up some peroxide and bandaids. 6

Got to see the inside of something I only ever saw the outside of, plus my prostate and bladder. Of course the initial insertion was a might bit uncomfortable. I like watching when they do my ultrasounds too. I suppose the fact I was an editor for a number of medical journals and was acclimated to seeing photos of things you wouldn't discuss over dinner helped with the squeamish aspect. 6
