I wish. Unfortunately she's too out of it. A new med she's been taking for about 2 weeks to help her sleep isn't doing it's job and is giving her hallucinations and she's talking shit non stop. I went to the grocery store at the end of the street earlier for 5 minutes top, when I came back: butter was burning in a saucepan and she was looking for the bowl with the eggs in her bedroom... 

With ear plugs I just smile and nod from time to time and don't get mad 😬

Sounds like something my brother's ex-bf would come up with. Once, he told us this: Back when his parents were still married, they would take him and his sister out to eat---for all three meals---Every. Single. Day. And every single day, it would cost them $100K.    There isn't a restaurant in the entire world which costs that much money, never mind in Traverse City!

I had to buy cooking sherry today.  I had to look it up on my phone to find out that it was in with the vinegar products and not with the wines.

Fungus   The rest of it sounds good   I made a ribeye and roasted broccoli with tahini sauce for lunch and zuppa Toscana with a grilled cheese sandwich on cauli sandwich rounds for dinner.  Can you tell I went grocery shopping this morning?    I bought cauliflower to make that cinnamon cauliflower recipe you shared a while back.

I am aware that opinions on mushrooms are very polarizing.  I happen to like them.  Let me know what you think of the cauliflower recipe.   I like it because it's quick and easy.

There's nothing wrong with liking fungus  I'm a pretty picky eater, although I've become more adventurous with trying new food in my old age   Mushrooms are one thing I've never developed a taste for.  Those and peas    I'll definitely let you know how the cauli comes out.

I have mushroom hating friends.  I get it.    I'm with you 100% on peas though.  I like to try new things.  Although when I'm trying a new recipe, I make sure to have back-up pizza on hand.  Just in case.
