I got worried and went to the store to get a few more things.  Things looked scarce enough that I also went to the grocery store near my parents house to get some perishables for when they get back from their trip.  The cashiers were talking about how bad things were on Friday and Saturday.  Today, I saw plenty of employees working on restocking the shelves, so that was encouraging.

Hey, Cassie.   :hug: I'm not too worried about groceries at this point in time. We have plenty of stuff ready to use, even without making another trip to the store. If the store runs low on some items, we'll just have to stretch things out until they restock, or do without altogether. Geez. If you listen to some people, it's Y2K all over again.  :rolleyes:

It's similar to what happens before a snow storm.  People would be stuck inside for maybe 2 days MAX and they all run to the store and clear out the bread and milk.  When I hear of a storm coming, I go to the store for wine and chocolate, but maybe my priorities are just off.  :P

I ran into a friend of my dad's, the other day. He joked that he'll just gargle Jamison Whiskey instead of using disinfectant.   :lol:

The same thing happens here when we get a big storm.  And it sounds like your priorities are just right :P

:yes: A few states have done the same.  Our county and a lot of municipalities, including the town I live in, have declared a state of emergency.  All the schools are closed.

Well, in happier news, the water level in Traverse City is finally receding. I can actually see the boat slips in the Boardman River!   :yes:

Same here.  We've run out supplies at stores before, but only after a lake effect snowstorm has shut down the area for a week.
