Popular Post Marty Posted April 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 6, 2020 I got momentarily excited earlier when I looked in the mirror... I thought the colour was coming back into my hair... Then I washed it in the shower and it was white again. Must of been all the smoke and ash from the bonfire... 7

Easy to do if you aren’t looking at the screen while typing. Ah! Thanks, B! I appreciate having an answer. There is a bar that pops up on the text of work with options I don't understand... it drives me crazy... and I wonder if it didn't highlight the missing work... the work was missing mid sentence. With my shoulder problems I have to do a lot of going back and fixing errors, so maybe it happened when I was fixing one and I didn't notice the text disappear. Wonky shoulder, wonky eyes, wonky focus. 1 4

Popular Post Marty Posted April 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 6, 2020 (edited) Before I go, I thought some of you might like to see a photo that I took two days ago (thanks to Trusty Nikon) of the back of the new old house, showing the cottage in the garden, and taken from the upper (larger) garden... Edited April 6, 2020 by Marty Removing another of my inevitable typos. 2 6 1

I have plenty of chores to keep me busy, but when I have some down time, I find myself reading and writing more, instead of watching reruns on Netflix. Hey Page. Yeah i got sick of the Tv pretty quick. Books are much more fun. 6

What I wouldn't give for the sound of my son thumping up and down the stairs, or his PS game system booming with gunfire and explosions that I can hear in my bedroom. God, I even miss the sound of his hour long showers. Take care and be safe, Caz. Hi Gary I suppose it's a catch twenty-two situation. I love spending time with Ali and Mark, but I also like to be alone and have quiet to work and read. Now, of course, that choice is taken from me. I expect if I was alone I would be thinking it was too quiet and I wanted company every once and while. 7

Thanks, Gary! The cottage may look bigger in that photo than it really is. A matter of perspective, I think, as I was stood much closer to it than the house behind, making it look almost as tall as the house itself. In reality it's probably only about 2/3 the height of the main house. 7

Store some herd? Not totally made my mind up yet, clo. I'm thinking I may convert the upper story into some sort of living accommodation. Perhaps a holiday rental, or just somewhere for friends or family to stay when too many visit at once. The lower story may eventually become a workshop/storage area. (And is it wrong that I initially read the last word of you replay as "herb"...? ) 7
