Although candy marshmallows were originally made with mallow root, modern recipes no longer use it. Maybe something in the egg whites is responsible? 5

We got some thunderstorms last night, but thankfully nothing like the one last week. The temps have dropped quite a bit, so it's quite nice despite the mugginess and wind. I got up early and went grocery shopping. I managed to score some disinfectant wipes. It's the first time I've seen them on the shelves since the pandemic started! I plan to do some baking today, and also take some more pictures. I'm also ready to start Chapter 4 of my new story. 1 6
