Mmmmm so many good options to choose from. 
 

My sister and I have been doing the same. We are getting 2kg of prawns for the week we are away. It will be cold food for us on Christmas Day with the exception of the Christmas pudding (smells so good warmed up)

Any ideas what you'll be making yet?

I've wanted to make a roasted ham for a few years now and it'll finally happen I've bought 2 (bought a second as my uncle and maybe great aunt are coming and I want leftovers) shoulder hams (also call Boston butt I saw on the internet? From the shoulder blade). I'm still unsure about the recipe especially for the glaze part. I saw some receipts with marmalade, another one with black tea and brown sugar and another one with beer 🤔 dad don't want something too sweet, just caramelized/crispy.

With I'll probably go for something quick and easy to cook like a gratin dauphinois with green veggies on the side.

By doing the cooking at least I get to decide what we'll eat my grandma will make the stuffed capon for the 25th. It's going to be fun watching her cook at our house this year and she don't even have a microwave

It'll just be me and my mom this year for both Christmas eve and Christmas.  We're going to have dinner on Christmas eve at her house.  I thought I'd make some soup and we'll probably have some snacks too.  I made more Christmas cookies today and plan on making fudge tomorrow so I'll bring those.  Christmas we are having filet mignon instead of our usual rib roast.  I said I'd have Christmas at my house this year since it's just the two of us.
