I had steamed home-grown root vegetables, and the second of the three frozen pork loins oven cooked with onions. And a buttered slice of banana bread for afters.

I had left over pot roast... potatoes, onions, carrots, beef, and added kernel corn... fried up in a fry pan. After it was finished I made an au jus in the hot pan from the broth and some seasoning to pour on the beef. It was delicious. The rest of the beef will get chopped up for the cats tomorrow as a treat.

I put my mare outside today and she didn't seem keen to come back in so I left her out. It's cold, but not near as cold as it was.

We had meatloaf, baked potato and a medley of steamed cauliflower, carrots and sugar snap peas.

So so.  I'm still struggling with it, but am managing to get the 4 hours per night I need for insurance to cover it.  They're still piecemeal though.  I can only tolerate it for about an hour to an hour and a half at a time.
