This is surprising

Specific types of funnel-web spiders are found in southeast Australia, around Sydney. Others are found in Europe, New Zealand, and Chile. They are not native to the United States, although some people may keep them as exotic pets.

Three new kittens born this afternoon. All doing well, it seems. Gave the mother some chicken breast and milk while I threw Temptation Treats to the others to get them away.  

One solid tabby, one tabby and white, and one light grey.

My sister was terrorized by a possum that would sneak into my parent's garage to eat the food my mom left out for feral cats.  My sister worked a job where she got off at 11 so she would get home late.  One time she walked in on the possum and it hissed and chased her out of the garage.  This happened multiple times.

The Brazilian wandering spider is also quite potent.

Thanks for the support Clo!  I like your idea about claiming the handsome guys here.  You reminded me of my friend who would lick her brother's ice cream cone knowing he wouldn't eat it so she could get the whole thing for herself.

Hi Cassie!  I have mixed feelings about possums.  I worked with them as a volunteer in the education department of the Oregon Zoo.  That was fine.  However, I rescued a mother and 8 babies.  Someone had hit her on the road.  My reward was wounded hand wrapped in bandages for several days. Fortunately possums don't carry the rabies germ.
