One of the ummm… joys of crowd funded items on Indiegogo is the risk that the items you support will never eventuate.

I supported a tea maker (naturally enough) about 5 years ago and had given up on anything coming. Well imagine my surprise when I hear that they may actually send me something  apparently the courier has it and now I just need to wait… some more…

I also supported a laser engraver to make Christmas gifts over twelve months ago and that might be turning up too 

This might be my last go at crowd funded items… until next time

Almost everything I’ve ever funded on there has been delivered eventually.  Of course I’ve generally only funded physical media (a.k.a. indie comic books).  Even if they’ve been months or sometimes 2 years late than the original projected delivery.  I can think of maybe 2 that seem to have been dropped.

Unfortunately the landlord's wife (different from mine) works for the reintegration association those people benefit from and it seems they only rent to the association  the previous one was ok though. But honestly it can only be better after the current ones!

Looks like he forgot to remove the jeans before going skinny dipping. Oh, and he's not one of mine either. Spike did you lose something?

Rainy day here too. There is a front to pass through during the first part of the night with the potential for storms that could cause flooding. We were coping with dry weather conditions for most of August but in the last two weeks we received between 150-200% our normal rainfall.

We've had pretty steady rain here all summer for the most part, and that has kept the grass in the paddock healthy and growing. My mare, at her age, does best on green grass... I supplement her hay with alfalfa cubes and will do that all winter. Because she is old, she is not an easy keeper anymore.   She looks really good right now, but it's a struggle. She also has a scratched cornea I've been treating for about five weeks... today was the first day I thought she had vision back in it. It was really cloudy but now some parts are clear. The vet... she's been out twice... says the loss could be permanent but I keep putting ointment in four times a day because I don't want to give up.

I found the smallest kitten dead this morning. She was by the back step... she looked fat and healthy but you just never know.   I messaged my daughter and told her to tell my granddaughter I found a home for that one, so she won't be here when she comes next week. She was really taken with it this weekend.
