The guy who died was the owner. A sad reminder that they are not domesticated animals in any way, shape or form

Too many people see cute fuzzy animals and think of them as a puppy or a kitten.  Not all animals, no matter how “cute” are meant to be pets, nor should they be treated like pets.

Very true for male kangaroos. Reds are huge and even the greys are big enough to cause serious damage. Wild animals should be in the wild.
 

I have never had a problem with wild kangaroos - they look up at you and then decide to whether hop on or not. And they love mandarins, they used to eat them at Mum and Dad's old place. No fruit at kangaroo height

Hi Clo!  Aod and I are doing well.  To be honest, I was getting a bit too absorbed in GA as well as doing all the other things I wrote about.  After the operations, family visit, and painting the condo, I decided to cut down drastically on reading and commenting on GA for a while.  I was spending 8 to 10 hours a day 7 days a week.  That's too much.  I am getting back to reading, but am cutting down on my comments for now.  It gives me time to do things I have put off for a while. I want to learn Thai and how to cook Thai food, but have put those off for years with work and Covid.  Then it was the reading at GA.  So, next week I am going to sign up for some classes.  I'll still check in a lot on CotT2 and you folks, just cut down the reading.  I am happy that the neighbor situation will soon be resolved.

I understand perfectly being absorbed by GA either it be the reading and/or commenting. Especially with the time difference making it so that there's always someone online. It's great goals you have there about learning Thai and the cooking (I'm sure Aod will appreciate )
