@Thorn Wilde we often say bluefish instead of bloody because a very polite autocorrect changed things and it sort of stuck

This place is full of bluefish crazy things

I see. Thanks for explaining that, lol!

Um... I think they call them skunk bags... full of sneaker snacks. :)

Sadly for Sneakers, human food isn't good for skunks. Or dogs, for that matter. He likes some grubs or nightcrawlers with his dinner, or maybe a bit of raw chicken with the fat trimmed off.  :)

...I feel like there is something here I do not know.

I adopted a baby skunk after I found him on my front porch one morning, paralyzed by fear and pain. Wrapped him in a towel and took him to a wildlife veterinarian. She patched him up and then, strangely, removed his scent gland without consulting anyone. Now he's my pet.

I'm having a nice cup of hot cider.  :) Ham and bean soup sounds really good. I froze some of that corn quiche I made last Sunday and had a piece for lunch yesterday.  Word of advice for anyone wanting to make that quiche... don't freeze any of it!  It's still tasty but OMG it retains a ton of water.  So thawed leftovers will be quite soggy once re-heated.

Unfortunately it's the nature of egg custards to become watery after freezing.

This sums up my life perfectly.  :gikkle:

Consider how fortunate you are to have so many seasons. Hawaii only has one.

Knowing what some folks sneakers can get like I'll pass on those snacks.
