Ash and Jordan knows where meat comes from. We don't hunt, but we do go to the range to practice shooting..

Talking about food, it is 6:20 pm here and we are heading to Ford's Garage (a restaurant chain here). Great food...

I always knew where meat came from, but the best story I've ever heard was about my sister-in-law. When she was 3 her mum took her to see Bambi. They'd revived it in the cinema just then. They got to the bit where Bambi's mother dies, and my SIL says, really loudly, 'Mum? What's gonna happen to Bambi's mother?' And because her mother isn't the type to lie to children, she replies, 'Well, the hunter is probably going to take her home and skin her and turn her into food for people to eat.' My SIL considers this for about a minute before she says, really loudly again, 'Mum? I like that kind of meat.'

I've never tried lingonberry jam, but there's a local restaurant here that makes pancakes with lingonberry jam.  I should try it one of these days
