Apologies . Nick and Charlie are the central characters on Netflix's show Heartstopper (based on a graphic novel); Alex and Henry are the central ones on Prime's movie Red, White, and Royal Blue (based on a book).

Oh my god how did I not make the Nick & Charlie connection?   Yes I've seen Heartstopper, was one of my favorite series from last year.  Season 2 was pretty awesome as well.  

I have not yes watched Red, White, and Royal Blue, though I think Gary was saying good things about it.

Yes... it's a fun movie. Typical romcom fare but entertaining with some heavier moments.

Unfortunately, I was unable to make this year's anthology.  I've written for several and I love that the site is still keeping them going, but it left me without a lot of time and I have some longer works I want to focus on.  So I am taking a break.

BLs do frequently promote safe sexual practices, having characters using condoms pre-coitus.

I don't particularly recall this being explicitly stated in this series, but we can assume they generally are doing so as well.
