Halloween was great!  We had some of Max's friends and their parents over for a dinner party, of sorts. It was pretty cold outside, so they had to wear coats over their costumes, but everyone still had fun! And no, I didn't steal Max's chocolate. I bought my own supply when it went on clearance, like any reasonable adult.

Luckily the flames were not an issue but the smoke is a pain in the proverbial. 

And the severe fire danger meant there couldn't be a bbq so no hot Aussie meat at all  

Crossing fingers it will clear over night and I can have a bbq tomorrow
