Page Scrawler Posted October 30 Posted October 30 @clochette Did you know that Stockholm, Sweden has a hotel that caters to sourdough starters? If a baker has to travel internationally, he can leave his bread dough at a special facility in Stockholm's airport. Staff will care for the bread dough until the baker returns to take it home. 2 3

That's awesome! Though would a baker truly trust just anyone with their starter... I have dropped the idea of making sourdough bread. All my starters ended up dying, turning into two phases and being all liquid before I could even make a loaf. Probably cause it was too cold at dad's where I was making it. And here at the apartment my oven is so old it can't heat up high enough for bread Edited October 30 by clochette 2 3

Popular Post clochette Posted October 30 Popular Post Posted October 30 (edited) Managed to score an appointment with a pneumologist next Tuesday! I need to see one to look for sleep apnea... Mom had it, one of her brother does (he even has the big machine) and grandpa probably did too if the snoring we could hear all the way from upstairs was any indications... Thanks, I hope too cause lately (the last few months really) I've been feeling really exhausted all the time to the point of almost falling asleep during class or having no energy to study so it's really handicapping. At first I would say it was stress related with exams and classes but not now. I don't feel stressed, I feel like I have good nights sleep yet I wake up tired and could go back to bed by 10 am or having a 4 hours long nap in the afternoon... 5 1 1
