Afterwards we spread mulch in the last of mum's garden beds. There was a small bush in that bed she wanted me to remove so I did that before the mulching. When that was completed I raked the frontyard then Thistle and I took all the yard waste and pruning clippings to the recycle center. Taking a brief break before giving Thistle a bath and taking my own shower. Why not shower with Thistle? I mean, you'll get wet anyway, so you can save water... 3 1

I have done little today other than two outings with Cookie. Oh, and I've written 1500 words of a antho story I may not finish. And why do you say you may not finish your antho story? 2 5

I'm up to 2000 words, but it comes at a cost. Typing makes my shoulder ache worse, and I haven't yet figured out a way to support my arm in a way that makes typing easier... the pain ends up radiating up my neck, and then I lose my focus and concentration. I just had to rest it for a couple of hours.... 1 6

Popular Post Caz Pedroso Posted April 24, 2019 Popular Post Posted April 24, 2019 Evening all Hope everyone is getting on well. @Headstall I hope your shoulder eases soon so you can type better. I remember when I had the operations on my hands, I got so frustrated at typing with one hand or relying on the iPad's voice to text program. There are only so many times you can repeat the same word until you give up on it recognizing it, and did you know the voice to text doesn't recognize swear words? @Page Scrawler Thank you for keeping me up to date on Bob 1 5

I am very stubborn, and that is why I'm going to have the operation. It will be hard for me to move off my process... let's hope I never have to. I have written 2600 words, so maybe it's going to be about mind over matter. I'll keep trying, and hopefully finish something decent. 1 5

The fact is, the constant ache makes it hard for me to let a story flow out... I usually get lost in the words for periods of time while writing, but now, the ache takes that away, and I get frustrated... I end up sitting there and asking myself what I was going to write instead of just writing it. It screws with my brain. Anyway, there are people a lot worse off than me. 2 2 3
