Ahh... blissful silence   I had a smoke detector start chirping yesterday and I couldn't figure out how to stop it.   It was hard wired into the ceiling in the basement and there was no discernible spot for a back up battery.   Plus... going into the basement at night to problem-solve a loud noise is two giant nopes in one.    So mommy to the rescue!  lol  she figured it out and I now have silence.

Anyone got lot of new adds using GA on their phone? Since this morning I've got a little banner that comes down, under it a huge one and the bottom of the page is an enormous one. And sometimes when I load a page I've got a pop up one take all the screen and I've got to close it by clicking on the X to see the GA page under it? 

Before I only had one little banner, but this this is really annoying. And I didn't change any settings and upgrade any apps

I'm not on my phone, but I noticed the ads are different on my laptop.

I've just checked (I hardly ever use my phone for GA)...

I did get one ad that filled the screen on my phone. But there was an X in the top right-hand corner of the ad. When I clicked that, the ad disappeared.

I sincerely doubt it, but it could be a cunning ploy by the site owners to try to persuade users to sign up and pay for a Premium account, which is apparently ad-free...

Yes, it is - which is generally quite nice.   And you also get access to an extra set of stories.

It's more likely changes due to the software they use or Google ads, which I don't think they can control.
