Since today is Be Some One Day, I will be King today and declare it to be Junk Food Day, Lamington Day, and National Ice Cream Day. So bring on the Party.

Today is National Fragile X Awareness Day. Fragile X syndrome is a mutation of the FMR1 gene and is the most common form of inherited intellectual disability.

It might be a good day to lounge around in a Hammock today. 

While in the hammock, we'll snack on Penuche Fudge and Mango.

National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day commemorates the end of the Korean War on July 27, 1953, and those who served during this often forgotten war. 

New Jersey will supply us with Creme Brulee for the day. 

National Day of the Cowboy falls on the fourth Saturday in July to recognize the stoic, hardworking symbol of the American West. We are taking the reign today to provide you with a bit of quick history about the cowboy. 

The word "cowboy" comes from the Spanish word "vaquero," meaning someone who managed herds of cattle on horseback. The era of the cowboy began after the Civil War in the heart of Texas. Cattle were herded long before this time, but in Texas, they grew wild and unchecked. 

We'll gather together later today to enjoy some Scotch.
