Send Weary Willie a nice Christmas Card today. 

On December 9th, Lutefisk Day reminds residents in Norway, Finland, and Sweden to begin preparing their lutefisk for Christmas. If we're good maybe @Slytherin will make us some.

Dewey Decimal System Day December 10th celebrates a system of classification and the man who invented it. On December 10, 1851, Melvil Dewey (1851-1931) was born. The librarian invented the Dewey Decimal system of library classification. 

It's also, National Lagar Day. Cheers.

Thanks for that correction. Bing doesn't give a date unless you do a search for their suggestion. For example, today it shows Search - Day of the Pointsettia. National Day Calander shows it's National Pointsettia Day. 

Today is National Salesperson Day. 

For those of you with dirty minds, it's National Ding - a - Ling Day. 

It's also Gingerbread House Day. 

Todays treat is Ambrosia.

And back to me, once again. 

Today is National Unity Day. 

December 13th commemorates the National Guard Birthday. On December 13th, 1636, the Massachusetts General Court established an official militia for the first time in the American Colonies.  (This would make the Guard 389 years old.) 

Today is Day of The Horse. Please don't scare them by playing your Violin. 

Cocoa will be available all day by the fire.
