National Living Donor Day on April 11 celebrates and honors the brave people who step up and save lives by donating their living organs and tissue to heal those in need. 

National Donate Life Blue & Green Day, observed annually in April, encourages us to wear blue and green to raise awareness about organ donation. 

Today is also National Submarine Day. 

Shhhhhh! It's National Day of Silence. 

We'll have Cheese Fondue later today as a Snack.

Today is a day for those who suffer being an Only Child. 

For that celebrate, Passover Begins at sunset. 

On National for Twelves Day (4/12), the nation will honor a magnificent number that holds significance in several ways. We measure our days in two 12 hour sets. When we buy roses, eggs, and pastries, we purchase them by the dozen. How many months are in a year? Twelve. Of course, math lovers appreciate 12 because it has a perfect number of divisors. 

Time to celebrate the 38th state to join the Union, Colorado.

On April 13th, National Borinqueneers Day recognizes the sacrifices of the Puerto Rican Regiment of the Volunteer Infantry. Today the regiment is designated the 65th Infantry Regiment of the United States Army. 

It's National Make Lunch Count Day. We'll have Peach Cobbler for dessert. 

After lunch, we'll play Scrabble.
