just tried opening GA (iPad 6 iOS 16.6) and got the above message in a small popup window blocking access (I can’t post it - I “printed” a pdf)

This is the content inside the popup window (with the GA page ‘darkened’ in the background and my “logged in” avatar clearly visible):

   “GA logo

    Unlock more content
Take action to continue accessing the content on thisOpen site

    View a short ad

    Site-wide access for 24 hours“

I clicked the “play” button inside the popup as requested to ‘see the ad’ but not much happened

so I closed the browser tab

and reopened GA with no issue

Now I’m concerned the popup was malware and clicking it has installed it on my iPad… :(

Edit to add: It’s just popped up again :( The only way to clear it is to close the browser tab +reopen.
Edit (second): It’s happened again - I give up

This is a new Google Ad Feature called "offer wall".  They will show up occasionally and offer more revenue to support the site.

They should only show up occasionally.

I'm getting multiple interactive ads as well, that I have to close to continue. I can only function on the forums for 5 - 10 minutes between ads before I get another one. I'll make an attempt to post screen shots for whenever it happens. It started happening this week.

There might be something going on with the auto-ads. (automatic ads feature from Google)

I have not seen any of those.  Is it because I am a Premium subscriber?

Premium members should not see them.
