I haven’t played it. I didnt t think I’d like it but I’ve been seeing YouTube videos and apparently I’d love it.

This is no doubt, the most confusing sentence I have ever read. Right up to the moment I began typing this. Then I saw the word "didn't" and it now makes perfect sense. An intelligent person would delete this comment and not show the internet how dumb they are. But I can't find the delete key. So...its a good game, I've played the trilogy maybe twenty or so times.

So since no one likes sports balls, :P  let's talk Mass Effect, and since there are gay characters in said game we are kind of on topic,

What do you think of Mass Effect trilogy?

I liked Mass Effect, but it was obvious that the Female Shepard is the 'cannon' option. Her relationships and writing as far as the RPG/Character interactions were the weighted favorite to a point. Her voice actress was a lot better too, I said what I said. Liara's romance arc with either Shepard seems most canon as well.

With that said though, I've played it a couple of times. Was completely lost the first time I played it though. The dated graphics and controls makes it a challenge... and Mass Effect 3 was a cluster of good and bad, to be honest.

As far as datable M/M relationships...

Kaidan is boring, but he was my goto, but you have to pretty much accept a rushed story-line with him as you can't romance him as a Male Shepard until ME3.

Steve Cortez was too far out of the way and also limited to ME3, so it doesn't really matter much.

So, I always went for Garrus for Female Shepard, and Tali for Male. I did a Kaidan/Male Shepard just to see it play out, but Tali's story is by far my favorite as far as that is concerned.

---

They are making a new game to expand it past the Trilogy, so we'll see. Bioware has been rather good at effing things up for their franchises though. -- 'Glares at Dragon Age: Veilgard.'

Female Sheppard was the cannon choice. Tali was good because it lasted the entire series. I played all pairings at one time or another. I just like the mindlessness of the game. Drinking whiskey, watching movies, and playing Mass Effect. The m/m pairings were really bad, always seeemed to be thrown on at the last second without meaningful storyline.

I was typing one handed on an iPhone Pro max and I’ve got medium sized to small hands (and before someone makes a size comment no I was blessed enough in other areas) and trying to hammer it out quickly.

Auto correct failed I tried to wipe it out and fix it then that failed so I gave up and hit send anyway and just never got around to fixing it lmao. 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

I am man enough to suffer the consequences of my actions. I poked the bear, and she can take that as she will, so I'll suffer the claws.

In that other story, I did mention that she'd get her minions to do her bidding, so yes. I'll stick to sports balls talk in this thread. :)

And I'm so sorry, so very sorry, but the joke is there, and sometimes you have to commit to the whole "trolling bit".

Again, I am sorry, I actually respect you a lot but...you left it there. It's kind of your fault really.

Spoiler

Redacted (but it was funny)

*hangs head in shame* I don't feel comfortable about that one. You've been nothing but amazing in all the years I've been a member here.

I watched episode three of that hockey show, still not enjoying it. But there is three left so I'll motor on.  *stayed on topic*

EDIT: I love when people throw my silliness back in my face. It gives me the fuzzy bunny slippers.

Lol,

Well on the topic of sports ball and gay romance, I am never sharing my Tom Brady-Gronk erotic fanfics with anyone, they'll die with me and never see the light of day 😛

Anyway, what other mm romance do folks think will get the TV/movie treatment?

Way to try to get the topic back on sports balls, well in this case balls... and pucks. Sticks and uptight Canadian bottoms...

But... then you derail it. Shame.

As curious as I am, the fact that you redacted it in a moment of self-reflection, I can't have you backslide on that. :P Growth and what have you, I'm sure. Also, if you're trolling me, then you can't also be my little attack minions. You're supposed to agree when the cheeky little Canadian pokes fun and mocks me...

Otherwise you'll have to lose the banner, because you don't deserve the honor of having such a thing.

I left it in for about a minute, then I quickly edited. And that was only because I'm not sure if he would have taken it for the joke it was. I still haven't figured out his sense of humor. I'll be as mean as I want against myself, but i do worry about poking fun at others. I don't want it to come off as mean spirited.

But the joke was a call back to another comment I made somewhere else, but oh well...I know what it was, and it was funny. My husband said it was mean, so I edited it.

And you finally acknowledge it...the banner... so I win!

First it was The Fabulous One, and now that I think about it, he was the one that demanded it be capitalized. Then it was the club I started, he liked the banner, which means he might be on my side after all.

Next it will be...well everything. I'm slowly but surly breaking down your resistance until you take your place as the head of our most sacred order.

We gave you red hair, I think of you as a fiery redhead with a slight Irish Brogue

Well I'm not going to go into detail how I treat and talk to him. I'm sure he will after reading this exchange. :P But I've also had a lot of years to develop that kind of... well I'll just call it friendship with him. *whistles* But yes... I'm sure he'll explain, maybe. And embarrass me, but also give me a boost in my mean credibility as well. If that's what he's afraid of though, he may not say anything. We'll see.

I HAD to! I couldn't let HIM get away with derailing his topic to bring up the banner. I can't win for winning... my goodness me.

I'm not a redhead, my mother is, but I am not. :P I got my father's dark brown, honey-undertone hair color for which I am thankful, but also a bit bummed because a good shade of red is gorgeous and I don't like it when redheads don't appreciate their own hair colors. :D

I was going to say she is definitely not a red head. Temperament and stubbornness, definitely red level to the extreme!! I'd even say to a Red Alert

Goal Light Gif GIFs | Tenor

Not to say all red heads have bad temperament and stubborn :P . But if they were, she would outshine them all!!!

Never saw the fascination with Gronk, he always seemed like he couldn't string two connected thoughts together and breathe at the same time. Might just be a me thing though.

I haven't heard from Blue and JWolf in years, but @TetRefine been skulking around, on-and-off :D

I miss talking to a lot of our old friends too, like @CassieQ, @Andrew Q Gordon, and @intune. Been more than 13 years since we met up in DC.

----------

Anyway, yeah, I have a rich collection of Football (American Football) fanfics. @Krista Gronk and Brady to me as a slash/fanfic pair was the bossy smaller top, sweetheart muscular big bottom. Might not be original, but it appeals to some of us who like that kind of pairing.

Yeah, I still visit every month or so to poke around and see what’s up. However, the forums have kind of peetered out, so there’s not as much to see anymore.

Yeah, Psycho-jealous love rival/team mate, but in the end, Gronk smashed him Hulk-Loki style real good, "puny TE" :P (Yes, 2010s were a different time, don't judge my fanfic interests :D )

If you want a one sentence to describe my NFL fanfics: They are overly dramatic with soap opera-like NFL players and deep love-hate relationships, either they'll throw you across a field out of pique jealousy or up against a wall to claim their prize in the heat of male passion.

That's why I am not posting those stories, it's really trashy. Though some of the story arcs were fun like Aaron Rodger's "mean girls" Regina persona and Devante Adams leaving their abusive relationship. It was a Big Gay NFL fanfic.
