Marcus' mom is just great! She really knows her son! I can only imagine the shock on Marcus' face when he saw Andy wearing his priest clothes. Of course Marcus wouldn't be so upset and angry with Andy if he wasn't so taken with him.
-
I really like how tender Marcus is with Doe Eyes. I can see how he wouldn't want to be the one Andy sort of experiments with for the first time, but of course I'm glad it's him because as he said himself, Andy could have gotten into a lot of trouble if he went with someone else. Marcus should have been flattered when Andy admitted to feeling safe with him.

I loved this second chapter, Hudson! I agree with Puppi; I think once Doe Eyes gets out of the stuffy, cramped bar and into the refreshing night air, he's going to change his mind and chicken out about going to Marcus'. On to chapter three!

Tim, I was absolutely captivated by this story! I have never heard of Mercedes Lackey's books, and my middle son used to read all sorts of fantasy books, so I think he missed out. I loved the relationship Jonne and Van had, and I was sad to read in one of your comment responses that they never met again. I'm glad Van found love, and I'd love to read more about Jonne and his adventures with his brother and nephew. It's just sad that it has to be at the expense of his father dying. It was a terrific story, Tim!

It took me a while, but I finally read the chapter! Eric deserved what Travis did to him and so much more, but as Ben said to himself, he doesn't want a murder here. That's all he needs is to be wrapped up in a murder! I also picked up on the "All the Coopers are". That doesn't sound too good. Yeah, we haven't seen the last of Eric yet. Too bad.

I really enjoyed this story, Wayne. I liked the dynamics between Darin and Chris. Chris started off all defensive, with his jagged, rough edges, but under Darin's tutelage, he became the diamond in the rough, all smooth and shiny. I, too, would like to revisit them at some point. Great story, Wayne!

It took me a few days to finish this, but WOW is all I can say! What a fantastic story, Sasha! I also didn't see that twist at the end. I was actually thinking Gerard had some brain disorder or something. Something horrible like a tumor that was causing all his pain and bruises. Whew! Thank God it was just Faris! Seriously, though, what an awesome story, Sasha!!!!

So yeah, I'm ALWAYS late to the party! Congrats on being featured, Lit! Wonderful review, Spikey! I absolutely LOVED Unforgivable! It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me want to smack Jason and Corey upside their heads, so yeah, a great story all around! I highly recommend this story to anyone who hasn't read it yet -- you won't regret reading it. Promise! And I am all for a third story in this wonderful series!!!!

'It's little consolation to my heart the one I love will tear my soul apart.' These lines are from "The Maker". I think I like this poem the best, especially the last two lines. Isn't it so true though, that the ones we love the most, hurt us the most. Parker, all these poems are amazing in their own way. Your ability to create such wonderful poetry amazes me. Awesome job, Parker!

Awesome story, Cassie! I liked this better than Impatient. I can imagine threesomes would be difficult to practice in real life. I would think there would be so many emotions flying around, and maybe at the beginning there wouldn't be any jealousy, but somewhere down the line one of them may become jealous, and then there will be a mess of conflicting feelings. I hope for Marc, Ry, and Gabriel it all works out. And they definitely need to get a place where they can all live, including Cora. Because it's not fair that Ry and Gabriel live together and get to spend so much time together, when Marc is living alone, except when Cora's there.

I felt so badly for Oliver. Patrick was such a shit the way he handled everything. Or mishandled it, I should say. Sure, he could be confused, whatever, but he treated Oliver like crap. Could he have been more callous and uncaring when he was in the restaurant with that girl? Poor Oliver. That would have crushed me also. I'm glad he met Dylan, and if nothing else, Dylan could be a good friend. Great story, Cassie!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, MYR!!! I hope you had an awesome day!!! I hope you were able to rest and relax and forget all about those pesky bugs!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, COLE!!!! I'm glad you had an awesome day!!

Hehe, yeah, THAT'S what I meant to quote!!! Relax, don't do it... Sorry, couldn't resist.

What a wonderful story, Cole!!! Man, I LOVE that song, Brandy! I would have NEVER put two and two together about Looking Glass and Brandy, and Brandon! I never knew the band members of the group either, so Elliot was lost on me. lol Meatloaf was another favorite of mine. Like Val, Bat Out of Hell is one of my all-time favorite albums. That song in particular. I still believe in love. Even after my douchebag of an ex-husband left me with three boys under thirteen, I still believe in the power of love. (And that wasn't mean to quote Huey Lewis. lol) You can never give up hope for anything because then, what is there to live for? There's always hope. And love. Excellent story, Cole!

I see that I will definitely have to read this story!! You've both convinced me, Tim and AC! lol It won't be for a while though, because I have so much stuff going on, I barely have time to read the anthos!! But I will read it, and I'll let you know when I'm done, Tim.

Don't feel bad, Gary! I'm right behind you. Actually, I'm wwwaaayyyyy behind you!! I only read four, but two of them were stories I edited, so they might not count! -
That sounds familiar also. That wasn't in the same chapter? lol

Puppi, this was a wonderful story! I had a feeling something was going on with Fred. Cyril was so nervous that Fred was going to be angry with him because he was late. I think anyone in a normal relationship should understand that shit sometimes happens that you can't control. So my mind immediately went to abuse also. Cyril had to keep to himself so no one would figure out what was going on. God forbid he get friendly with anyone and accidentally slip about something Fred did to him. That's probably why he isolated himself from everyone at work. I wonder if his acerbic personality is his real one, or is it just a cover up so no one will get close to him? I'm with Tim; I have so many questions, and I'd love to see another short story or antho about these guys. Awesome job, Puppi!

Really? I thought it was that chapter. How did I know that, then? lol What chapter did you ask me to read?

I agree with Hoho, and I'm sorry you had to go through a lot of that. Thank you so much for posting it, though. If it's too painful to relive that all again with all the comments you'll be getting, that's ok. I can always reread it on your site. =) I know everyone will enjoy Reggie's Journal. I also think It's Not Easy Being a Tree and Dancing with Madonna are wonderful stories your readers will eat up! So if you want to post something less dark, it's ok. Thanks for writing back though, Ron. You're terrific!!!

Oh, I remember that chapter pretty well! Lady G was looking down at the two men outside (one was her husband, right?), and she was getting all hot and bothered!
-
Jeez, what does a girl have to do to get a request answered? Paul asks for a story, and boom, you're gonna post it. I've been asking for Down a Darkened Path since I don't know how long. Anyway, no matter. I love all your stories, Ron, so it really doesn't matter to me which one you post next. Honest. I'm glad Corey and Adrian are still together. I feel sorry for Brett because it's obvious he hasn't found 'the one' yet, and he may never. He may not even know what he wants. While reading the last three chapters, I thought it would be funny if Corey's dad wound up with Adrian's mom since she divorced Adrian's sperm donor. Great story, Ron!

My heart goes out to Casey and even Nicky. Yes, Nicky chose to exact revenge on his tormentors, which put everyone there at risk, including Casey, but how desperate he must have felt if he thought that was the only solution? Casey tried to move on, but how could he really? That day will be etched in his brain forever. Brandon is a wonderful guy for forgiving Casey. He knew from Casey's reaction that Casey was just as shocked as everyone else. What an emotional but uplifting story, Val! I loved it just as much the second time as I did the first time.
