    Prey

The whole time that scumbag Kenny was there holding the gun to Scott, I kept waiting for Ellie to show up. I knew she was due to be there anytime now, and I kept thinking, where the hell is she?? lol Whew! I'm relieved she figured out how to use that speargun! Wow, what an intense chapter! I was literally sitting at the edge of my seat. Awesome chapter, Parker!!

    Chapter 21

Wait, is that it? Jim overcame his fears of the water and the reservoir, he knows Dane loves him, and that's it? Ok, well, I'm glad we got some backstory about his mom and what happened. Very tragic, though. It's no wonder everyone blames her a bit. Why on earth did she hang around after she couldn't find Paul? If she could have saved herself, why didn't she? This was a great story, Rich. I'm sad to see it come to an end.
  3. Us Jersey people have to stick together! I've been lucky. I haven't had any bad experiences with anyone on here, but then again, I trust everyone that they're telling me the truth! Ok, so, confession time: I've only lied about one thing -- the thing lots of women lie about. But...those who have met me already know this (and some who haven't met me but are very close online email friends)! I've never lied about anything else. What you see is what you get. I consider GA to be an extension of my family, and I'm so happy SidLove brought me here.
  4. CONGRATULATIONS, ADDY!!!! This was such a well-deserved promotion!! You look great in maroon,, Addy! Congratulations GIF.mp4 Ok, so I'm totally computer stupid, so I wasn't able to attach the image I wanted to the post. But click on it, and you'll see it.
  5. 'Tim with a small t' ! That was great, Emi!! I loved both poems, but the second one really made me smile! Even for naughty Drewbear!

    April 19 : Manners

Excellent two poems, Emi! Loved the Four D's!
  7. These were sad, Emi. I hope you're feeling better now. I'm sorry you were so depressed the other day.
  8. The last line about breaking your brother's (or sister's) trust gave me chills. This was a terrific poem, Emi. Kids will be kids, but yeah, they can drive you crazy! lol
  9. This is a beautiful poem for your beautiful niece. They do grow up fast!
  10. I absolutely loved the first poem, Emi. It had a feeling of promise -- from the dream of Mr. Right, lifting your mood and bringing you out of the depths of despair. I love the images portrayed here.
  11. That line also got to me as well. This was a great poem, Emi. There was so much there I could relate to.

    Chapter 15

I agree with everyone who said this was a very emotional chapter. You had me in tears, Lit. Liam visiting his parents' graves sounds like it was long overdue. It's not an easy thing to do. He was surprised by his bitterness toward his father. Eileen's right; being angry and bitter at the ones who left you are normal emotions to feel. It's really sad that Liam's dad wasn't there for him physically as well as emotionally. A little boy needs a strong support system when he loses his mother, especially from his father. Marty and his parents are wonderful people, and a good support system for Liam. They're his second family. He's so lucky to have them. And I'm thrilled Marty will be moving closer to Liam. As a mom, though, my heart goes out to Eileen (which was my mom's name ), because she is going to miss him sooooo much! Thank God she has her husband, though. My middle son will be going to Israel in September for ten months to teach English. I'm already dreading it! lol

    Chapter 20

I found this chapter sad. I think it's sadder that Dane still loves Jim so much but can't be with him 'because he knows what doctors' lives are like'. (I'm totally paraphrasing here.) He thinks eventually, when Jim's practice really gets going, or he's working in a hospital, he'll never see him. I think it's so sad because he's thinking so far ahead into the future, and he could be enjoying a relationship with Jim right now. I'm proud of Jim for holding it together when he was with Dane.
  14. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GLITTERY!!!!! I hope you're having an awesome day!

    Chapter 12

Holy shit this was a sitting-on-the-ede-of-your-seat-biting-your-nails chapter!!! Wow! Who would have thought Kian knew so much about computers after spending his whole life training and fighting? Did he just sign his own death warrant, though? I'm praying Daven and Co find him before his grandfather throws him in the cell with Taewon and puts the poisonous gas back on. What a great chapter, Sui!!
  16. Tim, that's so beautifully put! I did read just one chapter of the story, and it was very interesting. I think it was a few chapters into the story. Maybe I need to give this story another go...

    Chapter 19

Oh, hey, how's all that construction on Russell Street? I'm coming up on May 11th to pick my kid up from school. Hopefully the traffic won't be horrendous. =)

    Chapter 19

Oh yeah, that is funny -- Leigh and sleigh, but although 'leigh' is part of 'sleigh', they're pronounced differently. Lee and slay. Leigh sounds like a nice guy. I guess because of his size Jim wasn't worried about him being a murderer or something. He must have figured he could take him. But he should really be careful who he goes home with. This was a nice, light, drama-free chapter, Rich.
  19. William, I definitely agree with Tim; you have to read the rest of the stories in AC's series. And while you're at it, if you have time, check out Dignity and its sequel Destiny. Two more wonderful stories from AC. Someday, I hope Jon finishes The English Year, because it's a great story. If you want to read completed stories by him, definitely check them out. He's an awesome writer. You won't be sorry. (I'm not a fan of vampires, werewolves, etc., either, so you won't find any of those stories in his writings.)
  20. I did not take anything personally, Dodger. Actually, I'd still be nervous if the doctor told me I had indigestion. One woman I knew, her husband kept having these indigestion pains, so he went to his doctor. The doctor confirmed that it was just indigestion. He was in Philly on a business trip, when he had a heart attack and died. He was only in his mid-to-late thirties at the time, and he left his wife and two sons. So that makes me nervous too. It doesn't take much to make me nervous about anything health related. But you're absolutely right, Dodger, about sharing your experience, because who knows, by writing about this, you might actually save a life.

    Chapter 10

Ah, good for Daven! Don't take 'no' for an answer! Of course sticking with Kian will definitely put him and his family in harm's way, but hopefully Kian will be able to get them out of any messes.
  22. Dodger, I am so sorry you had all those problems, and I'm sorry you found out so late about Skinny. Your post in his blog was very moving, like this post here. I'm glad you're better, Dodger. It's so scary when something happens and you're not sure if you should run to the ER or not. Especially being alone -- that's the scariest. I'm glad you had people with you when it happened. I would also say you're way too young to have heart problems, but I guess they can happen to anyone. The part-time girl I work with is only twenty, and she's had some kind of heart issue for much of her young life. Congratulations on your clean bill of health, Dodger!

    Summer's End

Just what I was thinking!!! The asshole Joey and Brett could be cousins. Shit. Joey's such a dick. And yeah, maybe Brett did go to the park to sell the pain pills. Who knows? I'm just glad B&B made up. Brett acted pretty maturely apologizing to Billy, and vice-versa. I think Brett gets a lot of his insight from his mom, and I thought the part when he told Billy that someday that scared, little boy inside Dustin will come out and hurt someone (I'm totally paraphrasing here and probably got the words wrong), was a very smart thing for Brett to notice. What other fifteen-year-old boy would think like that? That's his mom's influence. I'm so glad that Billy didn't shout out Dustin's name at some opportune time when he was with Brett (because of his wet dream and all!). That would have certainly put a damper on their make-up sex! You definitely deserve a break from writing, Jeff, but I don't know how I'll last almost two months without this story!!! And the next title is already ominous, so I don't know WHAT to think! lol Enjoy your time off!!
  24. Omg, I was thinking of Jon the other day. Where the hell is he??? Corbin and Co. could have graduated, gotten their master's, PhD's, and become CEOs by now!!! Oh, I know why I was thinking about him: I was reading comments on some news article, and some guy was from Old Dominion, which naturally got me thinking about Corbs. Whew! So glad I don't have to worry about being out-commented by anyone!!! Hehe
  25. Jeez, how did I miss this blog, Tim???? I apologize! I ALWAYS look forward to reading your reviews because they are so insightful, funny, and right on the mark. (Well, your chapter comments as well as your story reviews for Renee's blog; that's what I was actually talking about.) I have to go back to your list of stories you reviewed and read the ones I haven't. As for the prolific reviewers, I'm still at the head of that list? I haven't even looked at it in a while! Wait, you're number two? Shit, I better start reviewing more, err, commenting more! Can't have you catching up to me, Tim!
