    Chapter 2

I thought Joey was going to assign that asshat homophobic coach to be the GSA advisor! Jason and Travis are so cute. Wow, I can't believe Gene lost his company so much money. He's lucky his boss is giving him a second chance. I already read the next chapter, so I won't comment on Rodney here. Gene doesn't even realize he's an alcoholic. He doesn't realize there's a reason why he's a drunk. I really hope his talk with his boss shed some light on his behavior.
  2. "They are sweet and good for the digestive system.” Tom responded. He winked at Laura. She winced, in spite of herself. Tom was a silver fox, and yet there was something about him that bothered her. She couldn’t fathom what that was. Tom would be fired for doing that now. The woman, who actually resembled Shrek’s mate This is seriously funny. As is this: After hiring a lawyer, a team really, now she wondered if she should have hired a lawyer to help her hire a lawyer. Great chapter, Cole! I'm glad you're feeling better! Clay really is respectful of Ben. How refreshing for a teenager. I really had to laugh at Naomi's email. I'm wondering if her company handles the insurance for the company that manufactures the kerosene heater (unless I didn't understand her email correctly). And now there's a fire because of another faulty kerosene heater. This makes Jake's death seem just like an accident and not foul play. Very interesting, Cole. I'm so intrigued!. I'm anxiously waiting for the next installment.

    Under the Surface

Wow, what a riveting story, jfalkon. Like Gary, I was holding my breath on and off throughout the story. I just can't believe Justin's parents (whom actually acted like they did really care and love him, even though they couldn't see past their stupid religious beliefs), sent him to a place they've never even checked out! Although, I guess it wouldn't have really mattered since they had 'dorms' and 'classrooms' to show them. The camp itself was pretty harsh --- no bathrooms???????? Those poor kids were all made to go together in one big cesspool? And then out in the woods like wild animals? Despicable! I'm glad Jeff and the others were going to be saved, but I was hoping Justin would have gone to the police sooner. Oh, and how the hell did he know how to get there? He wasn't really paying attention on the way there, and I'm sure on the way home he wasn't paying attention. . The warden there really brainwashed those poor kids. Justin physically couldn't talk about the place. The parents who had left their kids there and never came back should be shot. I gave out such a big sigh of relief when Justin's parents showed up. But I was surprised they didn't notice how much weight he had lost. It was a very well-written and compelling story, jfalkon!

    Chapter 1

I really loved this story, Def. You had me riveted from the first sentence. It is really scary when you're driving and you can barely keep your eyes open. I can totally relate to Toby. My ex used to travel a lot, and he worked late hours, and unfortunately he missed out on a lot of wrestling matches and baseball games. I know what it's like to be in Toby's shoes. Ok, so I never fell in love with an available guy, but I can certainly see how that could happen. Although Toby and Jason were emotionally connected, Toby restrained himself and never physically cheated on Sloan. As Sloan said, he could have forgiven that, but once they have an emotional connection (as my ex put it), it's a lot harder for both parties. It's true they both should have talked to each other; communication is the key to any good relationship. I think Tait (cool spelling, btw!) would be a good friend for Sloan. Maybe they exchanged numbers? Great story, Def!
  9. What an interesting story, Caz! This type of story isn't my usual cup of tea, but I found it captivating. I loved the detail about how Alex enhanced the phones and the whole thing with the ship and erasing people's memories, and of course having that huge "invisibility cloak" around the ship---that was fun to read. I was sad when Simon realized he would never be back, but I felt worse when his mom claimed she had no son. It's better this way anyway; it protects his mom from the pain of never hearing from Simon again. Great job with the story, Caz!
  10. Thank you, Carlos for taking on this responsibility. Even if you're just sending questions to authors to answer, you still need to put everything together, make it presentable, and send it off to Renee. This is one of my favorite features on GA. I enjoyed reading @Timothy M.'s response. You left a few out, Tim: curb/kerb, tire/tyre, sneakers/trainers, line/queue, study/revise...I remember way back when I was young and naive, I used to point out to the authors they were spelling curb or tire wrong. Haha, that didn't go over too well. AC's stories are always a pleasure to read, although I haven't read FB yet. I appreciate you including Skinny's question, Carlos. I'll just agree with everyone about missing Skinny, his stories, and his friendship.
  11. Thanks, Drew!!!
  12. Thank you, DQ! Yes, I am always the last to read each chapter of any story! Are you kidding? I'm not even done with the anthos yet!!!! Thank you again for the b-day wishes, DQ.
  13. I really loved this story, Gary! I just wish Caleb didn't have to go through that whole year with his heart broken and thinking Dalton hated him. I'm thrilled they finally got together in the end.

    Brotherhood

What a wonderful story, Val! Isaac and Eli's reunion was beautiful. I cried when they spotted each other and ran to hug one another. I certainly didn't want to see those horrible birthgivers again, so I'm glad Eli didn't want to see them. And who could blame him after what they did. They kept him away from Isaac for the majority of Isaac's life, which is totally unforgivable. And NOW I realize who Rush and Ben are!! I am soooo slow! But in my defense, it hasn't been that long since I started reading So Weeps the Willow. So there! haha It would be nice to re-visit these four (Adam too, of course!) during Charlie and Isaac's wedding. Hint, hint!
  15. Thanks, Krista!!

    Chapter 1

Wow, Puppi, what an emotional story. I agree with everyone who said it was a tough read. I cringed every time Fred came near Cyril. What a monster! A controlling monster. Thank God Cyril got out, and hopefully Stuart can help him during his road to recovering from this relationship. Fantastic job, Puppi.

    Chapter 1

Wow, what a great story, Jay! Mark was definitely a d-bag, but he wound up losing in the end. That part was sad. I'm just happy Aaron came back just in time to help Kevin.

    Chapter 1

Tim, this was such an enjoyable story, I laughed the entire chapter! I'm not really into fantasy and stuff, but you had me from the first sentence. And omg, the names! Sar-Dean. hehe Onagh Bugsy! hehe (I'm pronouncing it like Owna, not Onog. So to me, it sounds like Owna Bugsy. Anyway, it's funny to me. And when Bugsy mentioned his FEMALE...omg, that was hysterical!! And his KIDS!!!!! What a sense of humor you have, Tim! I also loved the fairy-hoodlum, fairy-gangster, etc. It was just such a wonderful, humorous, and heartwarming story.
  19. Oh man, Jeff, when you have George die off-camera so to speak, you don't allow your readers (read: me) to get all choked up about it. I know I would have been going through the Kleenex if I had to read about it. I'm not sure if I should thank you or not. I totally understand where Billy is coming from. I understand why he's so upset with Paula. He feels she forgot all about George and married the first man who showed interest in her. Of course with the help of the pastor. And we know Billy; he has a habit of exhibiting self-destructive behavior, and this chapter was no surprise with that. He alienated his friends and Brett. Brett's frustrated because Billy's not being true to himself about coming out, and he's so deep in his self-pity party he can't see what he's doing. Didn't most people already know B&B were a couple anyway? George would have wanted him to be true to himself. I think Brett's suggestion about Billy talking to Dustin is great. Personally, I think Billy should talk to Jenny. Not that she did great with Brett, but he should go to her anyway. And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE SIMPLE PLAN!!! Every single song from every single CD!!
  20. Aww, thanks, Steve! It was a very good b-day!

  23. Thanks, AC! Pal of mine!!!
