Loved the Jackson "Leroy Brown" reference, and of course the famous JoBros. This was a terrific ending to a terrific story, Billy! The loose ends were tied up, and Andy's going to beat the leukemia (we all hope), he and Joey are going strong, he has more friends than he thought possible...the list goes on. I'm looking forward to catching up with FoL when you start posting again.

OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!! Andy's been shot!!!! Holy shit!!! What a cliffie, Billy! lol And the one advantage to being so late to the reading party, is that there are usually lots of chapters to catch up on! The next one being one of them. lol

The funeral scene was heartbreaking. I was only a few years older than JT when I had to bury my father. It's never easy, but especially for a teenager who is burying both parents. JT is so lucky he has the support of the Collins' family and all their friends. Who are the goons in the old Ford truck? Are they the killers? Are they after JT? Or the judge? And the judge seems to know who they are. So mysterious, Billy!

Terrific poems, Tim! The second one is definitely light and uplifting, whereas the first one is a bit deceptive, and the last one is both happy and sad. They all leave you thinking though, which is why I love the way you write.

What beautiful writing, Tim! The one titled 'Michael' was simply amazing. It made me cry. Tim, I have to tell you, you are so lucky to have someone like Michael who loves you so much. There are many people in this world who aren't as lucky.

I really liked this, Caz. I read it over a few times. The beginning gave me a sense of foreboding -- one more month to go -- then the line after that -- what will happen? It sounds ominous. I really liked that. My favorite line, of course, is the last one. Sorta like the saying: "It's better to have love and lost, then to have never loved", I think that's how the end of the saying goes! lol Great poem, Caz!

That was a sweet chapter, Renee. Josh and Reece's cousins coming to help him move, figuring out how much he's going to pay to live with David...that can be a tricky subject. It's so good that he has so much character and dignity; I wish I had been as lucky. lol Moochers you don't want. I can't wait until Reece calls his birth-giver back. Or, maybe I'll borrow a name that was used in another story: MD for Mommie Dearest. I could see her as Joan Crawford. lol

Wow, Doc, that's really chilling. Your descriptions and details gave me shivers. The bloody sky, the darkness of the city, the people who never smiled and hid in fear gave such a sense of depression to the piece. Great job, Doc! Hopefully the next one will be a bit more cheerful...?

I am sure there wasn't a dry eye in the park. I think I started from the first line. lol The minister's words were simply beautiful, very, very touching. I'm so happy they finally got their HEA. And Sarah and Nathan too! Now all we need is to find a nice, sweet, patient girl (or guy) for Eddie! Fantastic story, Mom! I can't wait to read more from you.

JMO, but I don't think Ian can take any kind of animal! He doesn't want another bird (which I thought are supposed to outlive us humans - even though my parrot keeled over one day too), because it's too painful, but he wants a DOG OR A CAT???? What, that won't be painful? lol Also, I can't see Ian walking the dog in the snow and the rain. But yes, as AC said - very funny chapter. I was actually worried when I read the title!

Skinny, reading your response to Bubby's review made me laugh. Yes, Twoey would be getting pats on the back if he were banging cheerleaders, and these cheerleaders would be considered sluts w/reputations. lol I think when it came to apologizing to Biggy and Mrs. Biggy, David was very mature. What he said came straight from the heart, and he didn't make any excuses for his behavior. In fact, he explained how upset he was about his behavior and his anger, admitting he probably needed to speak with someone. Funnily enough, the new school psychologist happens to be none other than Twoey's mom, right? lol Good set up there, Skinny! As far as Twoey and Erik and Matty (sorry, I misspelled it in my last review), who knows what will happen. Danny too for that matter. At least Danny isn't Mr. Iceman anymore. lol But Erik may be more than just in it for the sex...we'll have to see if he finds out what Twoey's doing with Matty over the weekend. Another hella awesome chapter, Skinny! Now I'm all caught up!!! (so you better hurry up and update!! J/K, well, not really...)
