Talk about what is called "Stinking Thinking".... Aidan insisted we have a celebratory dinner after Nikki's big news. While I was grateful that Nikki had somehow sold three of my paintings and handed me a one-man show and a new job on a silver platter, I couldn't help feeling that I didn't deserve any of it, or that it was all somehow a well-intentioned plot hatched by Nikki and Aidan to cheer me up. Sounds like someone needs to get in a car with Killian while Killian is driving blindfolded...WTF??? After everything Joey the frigging Putz did??? "Aidan..." I'm not sure Jasper would be all that loquacious around Deidre as to his 'work' affairs...I don't think she's totally clueless, but wrapped up in how she views her life, as she thinks it should be... I'm not sold on Val and Marina change of heart unless there was/were another outside influence such as Noah's older brother.... Can't wait to see the fallout once Jasper and his cohorts are arrested and make the news...will that event force a change in Deidre's living situation???

It may not of happened just the way that Max envisioned it but...he's found a form of freedom...unlike Conrad who wishes for the quick ending a vat of molten steel offers... As to Chris, is he a survivor, a coward, or something else???

This short story manages to pack quite the powerful punch over the arc of our two protagonists' lives. This is a terrific read!!!

As a fan of your writing, Bluegrass Symphony stands out most to me, I am surprised I missed this and now will go back to read more of your works. I though as others that both the story and the poem went hand in hand very well. That you were able to seamlessly move through the arc of their 'relationship' was so well done, and to me...this story stands on its own merits. I found the following line(s) to be very powerful... The most brilliant, wonderful smile lit Ian's face. "I'm in love with you. I have been almost from the start. You didn't ruin my life, Shawn." Ian rubbed a thumb across Shawn's cheek to wipe away a tear. "You were my choice. One that I have made over and over."

Bryce constantly amazes me; in fact, the whole damned family does!!! What I can't remember, when did they gain another son?

Where can I find 'bones' like that???? Gabriel’s fingers brushed Ray’s jaw as he helped him button his collar. “Next time you go as wolf, I’m actually buying the collar,” he murmured. Ray leaned in, brushing their noses together. “Only if I get to chew my favorite bone again.” And now we have some proof, we know from a past chapter the bitches, I mean the wart infested toad sucking leeches are slowly draining power from the wolves, and "mother'' says the magic words.... Ray's power does need to be studied, in the library, are there old, dusty tomes that that might/may hold clues??? What about the wolves that were chasing Ray at the beginning of this story, do we know/understand anything more about them???

Danny and Ryder need, and I noted this in another story, no plan of battle survives first contact with the enemy....
