Charlie needs to remind himself that he is better off, he has a house and a younger brother he needs to be strong for. If he should see Drew, he will need to point to the sidewalk and the curb saying so long!!
It's gonna hurt but in the long run it will get better!!
I thought the 'confessional scene' was as well written as anything I've read recently, it was original, well-paced, and descripted, well done...
An interesting ending to say the least, not too sure I would have spared the miscreants...
Me too...well, that was quite the jump, going from discovering his grandfather's proclivities to taking it a step further...and becoming a minor celebrity...
A great start to what will be a very interesting story! The following rang so true to me….
The guys were not explicitly homophobic, just woefully unaware of what else was going on around them and profoundly myopic in their world view. It tended to be casual cruelty rather than deliberate aggression.
Could someone from off-world be after our sly little fox???
A long distance marriage could be fun, just think of the joys of welcome home sex...
“Mateio, why did you ask me to check the food?” the elf asked suddenly.
“I thought I smelled arithal in it. That’s a poison from Egara, though I have no idea what it would be doing here.”

Thank you for the time and effort to share this tale with us. I am remis in not reading the previous segments and will do so!
I hope good fortune allows us to follow King Aaron, Itumak, and Captain Darren in future adventures.
This was well done, brilliantly conceived, and a joy to read!!!
Thank you!!!!

A fortuitous sequence of events...now...how in the heck did Calvert pull this one off???
It is going to take every bit of Dr Jackson's skill to pull this one off...all sorts of debris gets caught with the bullet as it goes through cloth and decorations...
Loved this chapter!!!
The following may help to explain in better detail what a "Karen" or "Ken" is...a sad commentary of where we are as a society today!!
How 'Karen' Became The Name For Rude, Middle-Aged White Women (lifehacker.com.au)
I have to wonder if the 'Karen' next door has a husband named 'Ken"...or is he a henpecked minion...It would be wise to keep tabs on her and the property line, video cameras would go a long way to diffusing any issues or trespassing concerns...
Hey now...I happen to like rhubarb straight from the garden, made into sauce and used as a pie filler with some strawberries...oh...wait...as a name....no....
I have some friends who have sons of a certain, tender age where Pillock or Dolt would be more than appropriate...I can remember a couple of the other species where Badger would have sufficed and been appropriate as well...
