You broke up with me and left me alone the entire winter break, and you hung out with HIM.” Peter’s voice almost cracked. “With him?” Sam asked as he brushed his hair back behind his ears. “Yes! Him,” Peter shouted. “The guy you cheated on me with? Twice!” Peter’s eyes grew, and his nose flared. “He told you? Why would he tell you?” -
Can’t disagree with any of the comments, but let’s not forget this is a multi-day event! Plenty of time for all sorts of red herrings to be flying around!

While an agnostic, I find relevance in different parts of scripture, and felt the following was applicable here... Living out here in Central Massachusetts, not only the center of the universe, but smack dab in the middle of what's left of our small farming community, one would think the opportunity and the chance to go galavanting on the back of some four-legged means of conveyance would abound...sadly, just not so. I have, however, had a moment on a mechanical bull. Calling it more than a moment is being generous....does this count?

It came to me in the last chapter that I thought our sun king was the culprit….and while that thought is the progenitor of a few red herrings, until otherwise demonstrated, I suspect Bastian is the killer…
