Looks like another detour along the way to wherever in the heck they are going...

Not sure what to say here....

All the comments above point to the vast multitude of red, and not so red herrings, that even I picked up on the following... “Martina, I have no idea what you’re talking about.” “But—” Our stride remains unhurried, casual, but I sense a change in her posture, a sudden tightening. She shoots me a sidelong smile. It’s strained. “Michael, Frank and Rory tell me you’ve been… there’ve been a few times when…” She shakes her head. “Not the time. Forget I mentioned it.” Now that’s a nefarious statement. I smile back and drop the subject as requested, but its implications spin through my head. I strain my memory for a fight with Sam. Find nothing. Only once have I struck a person in anger. It’s not something I would do lightly or forget. And her implication that my behavior has been strange, it frightens me. Because there’s history there, even if it is ancient. And just for helping to cover all the bases...what if Micco actually did the deed and killed Sam???

Word Gets Around and Closeness With Brandon
drsawzall commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Word Gets Around and Closeness With Brandon
I have to admit to a humongous error in my previous comment, sadly I compared Mason's intellect to that of a bulb found in a fridge...In retrospect, his bulb is the equivalent to a hallway night light... "No. If I didn't make sure he wasn't getting right up, he still could have stabbed me." "OK. That does match the injuries he received. And everything up to the kick, which only left a small bruise, any one of those may have been inadequate to prevent further injury to yourself. I have all I need. Thank you for your cooperation." "And that's it, Officer?" "Yes, it should be son. I can't speak to any civil action that may occur, but the police won't be concerned any longer. Thank you for the coffee, ma'am. I can see myself out." This worries me up to a point, will the nail in Mason's legal defense failure be the story of the doctored photo...is it still on his computer/pc/tablet? -
Another Jerk Plus Another Mistake Equals Pain
drsawzall commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Another Jerk Plus Another Mistake Equals Pain
Truly a great moment in learning one of life's harsh lessons...having said that, I am not sure Mason's lightbulb isn't anything brighter that what is found in a fridge... I would like to hope Mason will fuck up and somehow cross a line with someone and Brandon will be left with no choice but to, for the lack of better words, expose his brother and the atrocious, stunt he pulled, one that resulted in the death of a young man...I can't believe he's ever going to get away with that.... -
Schoolmates and Secrets Kept
drsawzall commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Schoolmates and Secrets Kept
It was in 6th grade I confirmed to myself that I was gay when experimenting with a neighbor the same age became more than experimenting... I was very careful not to stare at others in the locker room once we got to JR High, but some innocuous mannerisms caused a few caustic comments, I was much the same build as Carlo. Thing was, we lived far outside the normal school bus routes and a station wagon/van would pick me up along with a few other kids. One of those was a classmate named Randy, who looked like a senior. He stood 6' tall and weighed about 180 pounds. When it came to history and math, he was hopeless. On those long rides to and from school I helped him with his homework and gained a protector. Confronted once by a couple of assholes, I couldn't keep my mouth shut and Randy wasn't in sight. Having an older brother by 4 years, I learned how to scrap, and unfortunately take a pummeling... Once into it, Randy appeared from somewhere and as soon as it started it was over, his only admonition was to make sure when I was alone, not to write checks with my mouth I couldn't cash... -
Looks interesting, looking forward to seeing where this goes...

Not sure what James "business" is or Mike's for that matter where nudity isn't a concern... something is not adding up and the accelerated pace. Scott and Greg are moving at is interesting to say the least...

Part Two. Chapter Eight.
drsawzall commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Part Two. Chapter Eight.
This was spot on, succinct and direct to the point... All I can say that Jed is a saint and a savior with a healthy dose of common sense... Then there is Max, I hope to all heck that we see him in his own story, he's simply too good to be in a toxic relationship... Then there's Kyan's family, we see a smidgen more about them, as they lurk around in the background...it is time we learn a bit more about them...- 179 comments

Travis has a lot of messes to clean up after, and then a battle to defeat the child of dark...just another ho-hum challenge...

The die is cast in many instances, from star crossed lovers, a corrupt bishop and Simon, to a battle to halt the advancing army, lots of possibilities percolating...

Pray the day that Lothar can do the deed comes quickly... Lothar, cloaked from shoulder to boot, stood by the tent opposite with an expression as close to rage as anything Fran had ever seen upon his stolid face. “…Say the word…” whispered the espial, every syllable uttered with ice cold resolve. Fran swallowed a breath, still shaking, eyes dripping with fresh tears. “…Not yet. I still need him alive…” “You cannot keep this up, Fran. You are losing the stomach for it. I see it. Ever since your Edward appeared…” “This is not forever!” As the cry escaped him half-a-tenday’s worth of sallow semen seeped down his inner thigh, as if to defy the sentiment. “Once the viscountcy of Thormont is mine… his throat is yours to slit…”

No issue at all. In the process of changing domiciles and working off a unwieldy tablet. PC will follow as God wills...I believe I've found an editor for my next story!!!

I agree that calming is a terrific word to describe this chapter. Underlying that word would be healing, as both have struggled with broken lives/family and struggling to make their way in this harsh environment. Much has been learned/imparted, some good, fantastic, and some lessons painfully learned. It will be very interesting to see how these damaged souls help each other find what's needed to finally heal..
