An interesting chapter to say the least, I think the stalker is Herr Webber, the little shit...I also think it is time for Niki to have a long discussion with his brother, who coincidentally, is Herr Webber's boss. The scene, the confrontation in the camera shop in front of a customer would and should be grounds for immediate dismissal... Then't there is the issue with the good priest, Father Abuser and his superior...will Inno's mother find out about the abuse and would love to see her confront Father Abuser and his superior./.. Now, both boys are rather going after the stalker in the wrong manner, yes they should have gone to the police much sooner, but how stupid is Niki??? He works in a camera shop with all sorts of cameras, would it be so difficult to install a disguised security camera at the entrance to his apartment???

A quick but profitable trip to Paris and possibly some new benefactors to the orphanage...The boys and girls will do well with GG's guidance

Some masks certainly came off in this chapter, Donavan is a sexual predator and needs to account for his actions. I wonder if James came forward, how many others might??? Roy's mask showed a caring, if not mixed up individual...he knows what's right and needs to stop covering for Donavan... Hopefully Jackie can keep james somewhat sane...I hope she wears very pointed shoes... At least James can now be true to himself, his "coming out" will be old news at school in a week or so... I think James misread the mask on his mother's face, at least I hope so...obviously she wants the best for him... I hope James speaks to Mr Wilbur, he might find perspective...then there's Dion, what will his reaction be?? Have we seen the last of Donavan, will he confront James, will Dion get involved???

Much happening in this chapter, some good and some horrible. Niki and Lucas and Nicki's conversation with his brother... Then there is Inno. While I am living in Massachusetts, just outside of Boston, I am well aware of the pedophelia scandal the engulfed the catholic church here, and the subsequent revelations worldwide. Sexual abuse was institutionalized over generations and for my way of thinking, the church has lost its legitimacy. I believe it has done more harm than good as history will attest to. Sadily so many other faiths have followed along the same wayward path, ignoring or warping the teachings of their lord and savior... How can so many misconstrue the basic foundations of their beliefs, is beyond my comprehension...

I can clearly remember standing on the sidewalk near the entrance to the local catholic church when I was 13 or so. I was with my sister who was waiting on a friend to come out after a catechism class. She was followed out by Father Dwyer and stopped to speak to my sister's friend asking if we were catholic. When told we weren't, my sisters friend was admonished for hanging around with the likes of us as we were destined for hell. I looked at Father Dwyer as he stepped into his new Cadillac and asked if he was going with us as he obviously didn't take his vow of poverty seriously... Having been taught my elders and betters to be respectful, when an outraged Father started to belittle us, me in particular and threatening us by telling my parents, I could not stop laughing at him, knowing my parents would have a field day with him, told him so and to save me a seat in hell... Knowing Jesus wore borrow clothes, I've often wondered what he would make of all the folderol, pomp and circumstances, some faiths, evangelists, TV phonies, spew in his name...
