Adam is not only precocious but a budding star!!! Loved the following... Adam immediately asked if we could get a cat after reading the first. We took the easy way out with the typical parental response, 'we'll see.' Thankfully, he didn't ask if we could have a T-Rex after reading the first dinosaur book. But I decided to have a little fun with that. "You asked for a cat, but not a dinosaur. Why not a dinosaur too?" "The dinosaurs are all dead. And if they weren't, if we got one, it would eat the cat. The books are Pete the cat, not eat the cat." And Mrs. Prescott is going to find out the world of hurt she is in, will seem like a bottomless pit... .

Al I can say is, and I am sure I speak for others as to Book 3...

One last chapter has a lot of ground to cover...I'm guessing the next wedding will be Andre and...Beau!!!

Hey now...most of us resent resemble that remark...just sayin...

A very generous move to say the least, if they are as you describe, there are two other options to consider; first...specifically mention that "no provision" has been made for them, secondly...you could make a donation in their name to a charitable cause.

Thanks for your comment, it was a very interesting time to be sure!!

On more sober reflection...Huntington may just be anticipating the return...after all like all bad guys he was confident in letting our hero's know his dastardly plans O look @weinerdog and any who don't care...foist on page 5!!!

No really, it isn't like I have any strong opinions or anything

Have I told anyone what I really feel about Caleb yet???

look at me folks, number 98...Wooooo Hoooooo Huntington can go F his ugly old ass, no one, nobody gets Caleb till the Jury decides...Capece amigos!!!~ Speaking of which all you haters, now that Aa is safely back, can anyone tell me the definition of insanity??? Something about doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results... And speaking of fortitious events...I'm not sold that Asa was all that lucky escaping the rabid kitty kat's clutches...smacks of a set up... Today, Fate must have decided to grace him with a gift. As he placed his empty plate and two empty water bottles in the small space, he heard a loud clap of thunder through the portal. He sensed the hum of electricity as it stuttered from the storm’s disruption. Instead of his side of the pass-through sliding shut and locking, it remained open as the door on the other side swung open. It took Asa no more than a second to register the shaft of light coming through the narrow chamber. It took even less time for him to do what he did best– become one with the light. He was gone before the soldier on the other side even realized the mistake. Freedom! One can only hope this is where you know who ends up...

Miles is a certified POS, can't say much better about the mother, who incidentally is as fit as a fiddle...Good on Colin for cleaning the junk out of his mind...Bravo!!

One adventure ends and I expect another to begin!!

Wow and double wow, this chapter had it all within it...I'm sure like others, worried about the servant girl to Lord Sarin, if she is there...are there others?? The lead-up and tension waiting and finally boarding the plane was masterful, so very well done!! My writer's hat is doffed to you for this incredible chapter...please let them land safely and return the same...

Humm...this happened to me once at Nick's Pub and it ain't easy dancing with a heifer... As to the ending...

If Thrad has testicles, it is past time to find them...

From your lips to God's ears can we hope that the madness ends...

Thank you, I've taken a moment to reread the story and wonder when we will grow up and actually address the issue!!!

As you know this is a polarizing subject and at the risk of repeating myself, the following applies... Thank you, I can honestly say I struggled mightily with this subject, it can and is very controversial and polarizing, but our children are dying because those who are able to effect change, refuse to do so...what will history say about us?

It is a difficult subject to cover, and at times I struggled with it..

I grew up in a household that saw the sheriff show up at our doorstep with the eviction papers and a moving van behind him, four times before I graduated high school...I know full well the disadvantages of growing up not being able to afford the simplest of things or luxuries. As a family when times weren't quite so difficult, we planned as a family, places to go or things to do, ensuring each of our varied interests were encouraged. Most importantly we learned that such dismissive behavior, such as I mentioned in my comment above, would never be tolerated.

I would read either Doc Tompkins or Empty Shoes next! I will respond to your message tonight! My sincere apologies... Hang tight, much more is to be revealed...

Couldn't say it any better, as Doris Day sang, Que sera, sera...who knows what's in your devious, oops...brilliant mind

A calm chapter with just a bit of angst at first with the brothers...one wonders if they are just a bit curious... It just may be me, but the continued "I'll tell you later" scenario is getting very tiring, quite frankly it is the...hallmark of very rude behavior...it is unnecessary and in all instances such as this, uncalled for...not that I have any strong opinion's either way... As grandma always said," If you cain't say what's on your mind, keep your frigging mouth shut"!! To be honest it isn't a trait limited to us older folks either...

Because of my father's propensity to create all sorts of legal havoc and declining health, we put the family property in a trust that mirrored my grandmother's will. When the time came to place both my father and mother into long-term care, and not having financial resources, to pay, all sorts of entities tried coming after the property but could not touch it. The trust allowed for successor trustees thus saving the property from being sold... I believe in Massachusetts, if you die without a will the following applies...
