Here in Central Massachusetts, we get snow, not every year, like in the winter of 2014-15. Between January and February over 90 inches, (228.6cm). As to driving, as @ReaderPaul noted, the first snow of the season is the beginning of clown school driving season. How so many idiots don't realize that, as grandpa noted to me once, 4-wheel drive simply means...twice as stuck... So with that said, it does my patience no good to be on the freeway/interstate, with a left lane Louie doing 55 mph (88.5 km/h) when the speed limit is 65 mph (104km/h) Folks driving and only occasionally glancing up from their phones. When the vehicle behind me is so frigging close I can't see their license plate.... Missed two words this week: brumous, descry My hat's off to the Anthology team; what a great start so far... We keep forgetting that the appeal of this particular case was filed too late; by any legal standard in the Western world, it should be 'Case Closed!" What, other than artifice, allows the case to drag on...it makes no sense from a logical perspective, but then again, attorneys and the legal system rarely make any sense...but a closed case is simply that..,it is F'cking closed!!! Julien has more issues than simply walking away. I don't envy any of his time when the accident happened; he is to be commended for his actions; they were honorable and responsible to the nth degree. We know from earlier comments regarding his interactions with his sister that there is a deeper pattern/issue here. This comment is spot on, and I find this coming of the minds, making me want to sit around the campfire and sing Kumbya...But that is the cynic in me... Somehow, I messed up in my response @CincyKris When words such as the following are spoken, it gives one pause...Self-centered and entirely ignorant of what it takes to have a relationship... Don't forget, Oliver found a mistake/issue that exculpated Julien, one that teams of attorneys failed to notice. Why, such an open-and-shut case has gone beyond this; only the author knows or does not remember...Let's not forget, the whole issue should have only lasted 2-3 days...why all of a sudden has it become even more complicated considering the appeal was filed after the frigging deadline to appeal.... Lastly, right or wrong, any partner of mine who spoke to me in such a manner, and continued to be petulant and pout would have seen the bottom of my boot with a final message...Hope you have a nice life as the only resident on that private island... “I came back because I want to be here. Not because you earned it. Not because the anger stopped. I want to be here, in this apartment, with you, even though you made it harder. You don’t get to treat that as forgiveness. It isn’t.
