I think they already are, they just don’t know it yet…did we get painted banana yellow along with the signage?

Therein lies the crux of the problem….We know that Cinan can return twice a year, will that be enough or will a way be found so that the boys will be together? We still have disgruntled neighbors to contend with, hopefully without broken bones or bloodshed…

If the road was difficult before, it’s about to become Hell incarnate… Hopefully they follow Wylan advice…Welcome aboard Ashot! Having bought the book, it is all I can do to not read ahead….

I grew up in the wrong neighborhood damn it…It does finish well and could be expanded, perhaps a tryst with Sam….

Niran, as noted, messed up badly…we are not sure if he knows about the “consulting “ firms payments being found out by the police. Time to let the police squeeze the “director“…there’s more to be found… Calm and steady…Let cooler heads prevail while Niran F’ups again… The police called again. The interrogation of the three men had yielded something new—not a name, but a pattern. The cash payments had been funneled through a small consulting firm that existed mostly on paper. The firm had no employees beyond a listed director. The director’s name was a middle-aged accountant who had once handled filings for one of Niran’s subsidiary holdings.

What could possibly happen??? Actually, how long will it take before the hookup?

Expansion seems to be favorable if the report comes back positive… is it possible for a very gay friendly Thai restaurant? Simon and Martin accepted Rick's behaviour and smiled while the waiter watched longingly from the door.- 22 comments

Money, greed, corruption, and power...and some wonder why Martin Luther stood tall... She did not wonder whether the child would be loved. That was already certain. She wondered instead what would be asked of it before it could choose. Benedetto is playing a long game in which others of greater influence are playing as well. Lorenzo is far from finished.... Benedetto inclined his head, a gesture that suggested agreement rather than command. “I wanted you to understand what is coming. Confusion is costly. Clarity spares people.” He turned then, and the light caught the fine lines at the corners of his eyes. Not severity. Calculation. “The Signoria believes itself stable,” Benedetto continued. “Lorenzo believes authority is a thing that can be held, defended, renewed by effort. These are understandable errors.”

Spring has finally arrived here in Central Massachusetts; daffodils and crocuses have come and are slowly going. Trees are budding out, and leaves are taking shape. The last tendrils of winter are reluctantly fading, three mornings last week with frost, and this morning, 37 degrees (F). We've had a few scattered days reaching the mid to high 60's, and it is time to get outside chores started, in between bouts of April showers. Soon, the midges, black flies, and no-seeums will be out, and being outside without protection means the hungry little bast#@ds will see you as an outdoor buffet. I tend to like the cooler weather, can't stand humidity, so I am outside as much as possible and save my reading for the early morning hours or late afternoon/evening. Now...just where did I put my mosquito hat with the netting last fall????

Love the idea of Dimitri and Gremlin becoming best buddies!

This should be used to their advantage and screw the bishop…no…not that way, get your minds out of the gutter boys and wanna be boys and girls…simply complete the bishops voyage to impotentency… "And you would have died. And he would have died. And none of this would matter." Haskal's voice was hard, pragmatic. "The Bishop made him untouchable today. Do you understand that? The Church has claimed him. Every priest, every lord, every king who looks at him now sees the mark of God. They can't touch him. They can't burn him for magic. They can't condemn him for the things he can do. He's theirs now, and that means he's protected

I’m loving this, the pace, setting, and mystery . There’s something very interesting about what’s going on! I have to agree with @akascrubber about the abundance of the images and use of the god Mercury… -
The Geometry of Protection
drsawzall commented on Tony S.'s story chapter in The Geometry of Protection
The wisest course of action... “Because he wants us reactive,” I said. “He wants panic. Distance. Cracks.” I brushed my thumb slowly across his knuckles. “We don’t give him that. We stay deliberate. We stay close. We outlast him.” By doing so, Niran will feel the need to escalate, and in doing so, slip up badly... It would be nice if Niran had a taste of his own medicine... Was the issue with the brakes ever reported to the police? It is critical that the bike be inspected and a report filed.... I noticed it in the parking structure when I squeezed the front brake before rolling out. There was a hesitation—not complete failure, not dramatic enough to draw attention, but enough that my instincts sharpened instantly. I crouched and ran my fingers along the cable housing, tracing the line from lever to caliper. It had been adjusted — not worn down, not degraded by time. Loosened with intention so that under sudden pressure it might delay. My body went cold before my thoughts did. I straightened slowly and scanned the garage without turning my head too abruptly, taking in the placement of cameras, the angles of parked cars, the blind spots between concrete pillars. I did not ride the bike. I took photos instead and texted Pete with a concise description. His reply came within a minute: Don’t move it. I’ll send someone for footage. -
It is no longer that the church is about the love of Jesus, but rather control, money, and power... And..the more things change, the more they stay the same....

Loved this song!!!! -
And the final curtain is about to drop, two resupply convoys failed to reach Louis. On land broken, at Sandwich and Dover, his formidable forces wither daily, not only through attrition, but desertion… The size of his “English” kingdom is reduced to a starving London proper. With nowhere to turn or run to, all he can do is sue for the best terms he can get. All that is left is for Louis to tuck his tail between his legs and slink back to France.
