In all the years that I've traveled there has only been one flight that I actually screamed and grabbed my best friend's leg (left a massive bruise too!) Flying home from Florida at night, we passed through a bad thunderstorm and hit one of those crazy air pockets and the plane instantly dropped mid-air about 25-30 feet. The lights went out for a few seconds, things got tossed around only 1-2 people had bumps/bruises since they didn't have their seatbelts on. Afterwards we laughed but I really thought we would die that night

I'm glad to see that Xavier and Axel are getting closer. It must be hard on Axel to be alone and so far from home. It was a smart idea to let him speak German to make him feel at home. Looking forward to more

I love chicken and any recipe that starts with get things hot...rub down with oil and tie legs together has my attention. LOL Since hubby does most of the cooking, I'll have to ask him if he has any easy recipes that he wants to share

Marky I don't see this as a desperate end but more of a realization at a new begginning. But in order for something to start something else has end. Lessons that we have been taught are not always for our own good. There are things that I know that I wish I could burn out of my mind and forget. You're strong, and a lot of people believe in you!!

A very interesting read! I loved the photography stuff that even those (me) that don't know anything, wouldn't be lost in this new world. I really felt bad for him, or I thought it was a him until the last photo. Gender twist?

Wow...just wow! I did not see that comming. I can see the desperation in young Gavin, but I don't know how Michael could accept his gift of life, at the cost of his friend. Sooo sad But you did an amazing job with this story!
