    Oliver

So sorry, Lisa. Somehow I use the anthos to try out different writing styles, genres out of my comfort zone, which means they get a little dramatic/sad. Thank you for still wanting more, reading, liking, commenting and being an amazing editor. *hugs*

*bows* Thank you, Carlos! I'm so glad it worked for you. Oliver was difficult and it took me forever to decide what to do with him at the end. I should really start to plan my stories...

A common goal might work to unite them, Adam can be the mediator. Still, Oliver has a lot to accept. I hope I'll get to the last part in what's left of 2016. Thank you Tim, for taking the time to read, like, and review.

    Chapter 1

I really enjoyed the story. It's well written, the conflicts felt genuine, and the end was exactly right, something to think about.

    Chapter 1

My first thought was actually a question: Why a poem from the perspective of a coroner of all people? Not that it really matters. It's an outcry for those who can't do that anymore. You're taking sides, and rightfully so.

    Chapter 1

I liked how you wove parts of Mike's grandfather's life into Mike's own. He could find comfort in those letters, strength, and courage. It's unfortunate they never got to talk. The idea to donate the letters to the museum is great. Some might be surprised when reading them. Thank you for sharing.
  7. Congrats Def! Thanks to Val I have to watch LOTR tonight, but the weekend is near...

    Oliver

Oliver The steady clop, clop, clop of hooves had almost lulled Oliver back to sleep, when Riah suddenly slipped on the muddy ground and nearly threw him off the saddle. By drawing in the reins, and muttering soothing words, he quickly managed to calm his spooked horse. After that, he had to adjust the heavy blanket around his shoulders. The constant rain seemed to seep into his bones. The cold numbed everything except for his leg; an enemy’s sword had grazed his thigh a few days ago, and it th
  9. It's the eve of a decisive battle and Oliver is prepared to die. He makes final arrangements before he joins a suicide mission.
  10. Happy Birthday, William!
  11. #1 My thoughts in your words. How many time can we go down the same road until we come back reformed? Or are gone entirely. #2 You're generous, but I thought you would. Thank you for sharing.
  12. I found this always interesting. I love Catull's poems. To make this complete we should mention Trionfo di Afrodite. As a person, Orff has been an opportunist and a coward.
  13. I don't know if anyone already mentioned Carl Orff. And especially his Carmina Burana. I was sorting through my music and found an old cd. I had forgotten how much I loved this. I was there.

    Vodka at Moonlight

Ha! Better late than never. It's starts with a joke, kinda, and ends with a really creepy outlook. As Puppi said, it calls for a sequel.
  15. I love Val's new story: Vodka at Moonlight
  16. Hehe! Congratulations, Carlos! Well deserved.

  18. Congratulations, Ronyx!
  19. Thanks for the interview Cia and Puppi. Very interesting. I totally understand your problems to write in English just like Tim, even though I'm not Scandinavian. I loved the story and am looking forward to read Frost, but knowing you, I need time to read it all in one go, because stopping means cliffhangers.
  20. Happy birthday!
  21. Happy Birthday!
  22. Yes! Very annoying and cringeworthy. Ugh. Okay, funny too.
  23. Happy Birthday, Dave! Best wishes to your wife as well.
  24. I agree with Val. This is my favorite fun Cole story.

    Chapter 5

You're right, D seems to be a lost cause. Noël shows his strength once again, seeing begging won't help. I find it interesting that you mention the prologue in this context. Thank you, Def. I love your comment, including the broken record part.
