  1. :hug:and all my positive thoughts as well as an umbrella.
  2. @Carlos: Thanks for the vote of confidence, Carlos! Patience isn't exactly my strong suit. lol @Val: You will definitely hear from me. Thank you, Val. @Puppilull: *blush* Thank you. Yep Adam is telling me his story. Really appreciate this, guys.
  3. There's no talking around this: I'm stuck. The first chapter and prologue is written, but I'm not happy. Beside some minor things I'm struggling with perspectives. I'm experimenting with authorial (omniscient) narrator perspective, but I'm afraid I end up head-hopping a lot. The other option is I change the perspective mid-story, not ideal either. Then my summer antho story is nudging me. In my head it's almost written and I itch to actually start the piece. There's some beta-reading too. I need to think and maybe talk it through with people. I promise I will solve this soon. Rant over. ~Aditus
  4. I'm done! If you haven't read the stories yet, I strongly recommend you do. I especially liked the variety.

    The Epicure

'A man with a poison pen.' I really love this. As always you provided lots of interesting information within your tale. I can't imagine to lose my sense to smell, horrible. He had to borrow a nose. lol Again. Great story, Cole!

    Obsession

Such a nice introduction and then it became creepier and creepier. Terrible things happened, Hank became a murderer, definitely crossed the line...still in a way I feel sorry for him. He's mentally ill. Great story, Val.

    Chapter 1

So he didn't cross the line. Yet. We gauge, we assess, and someday we jump. You captured this part of life perfectly. It will repeat itself again and again. I'd like to see him jump. Next time. Thank you, CM! Great story.

    Full Disclosure

Although I can see a lot of plotting and scheming behind Landon's back in the future, he is confident and optimistic. I thought it was risky to let his mate run when he knows something was up, but he was there when needed. I really wouldn't mind reading more, but it was a good place to stop. Thank you, Renee!
  9. Lovely! I can see it Emi!

    Worthy

I would say he is free now to decide his fate, if he lives that is. You created an interesting world, so many hints, so many possibilities. So, yes please revisit Sudal when you find the time, my mind is spinning.

Yes, sometimes I'm so blind and can't see the obvious. Thanks again! I love history and research. I'm really happy you think my strange mix works.

'It was a special kind of torture, being forced to live after killing his love.' Yes, it's one of the most horrible things I can imagine. He is a strong character and now he has another purpose to live. Thank you, Lit! There will be more.

Thank you, Renee! He needed to change, otherwise he wouldn't have a reason to live.

'Such evil - and yet such determination to atone.' How else could he still live? You found the turning point. Even though Zaidu didn't have a choice, he feels the guilt. Thank you, Tim!

    Chapter 1

I love the story, Parker! I read much about Nigeria, saw some videos. How lucky are we to live where we do, even though it's not perfect it's so much better. I liked that Daniel insisted he didn't understand, it was very brave. Of course I also liked the end. Now I can go to work with a light heart. Thank you so much!.
  17. I definitely start with 'A' this time... Nice Wednesday surprise! Thank you to the anthology team!

    Zaidu

Zaidu The fire crackles in the background, but its warmth doesn’t reach him. Standing in the cave’s entrance, his gaze wanders unseeingly over dense forest. Long-forgotten memories have assaulted him: a walled garden, green leaves whispering in the early morning breeze, and the cries and giggles of his siblings somewhere in the house. But not the name his mother called him. Not her face. Just a faint scent...jasmine? His hand involuntarily clenches into a fist, and he turns his face toward the

    Prompt 476

Jousting? I don't know how you got this idea, lol. Very nice! Love it!
  24. I forgot to answer the most important question: My favorite cheese is Appenzeller cheese and the cream cheese I make with my elementary school science class. Cole, you really made me think about my writing and I think I not only bend the plot, I build it around my characters. There are a few fix points I plan to reach in my story, but if the characters demand it, I change those too. Very bad form, huh? @Northern Dutch Guy: Thank you! For liking my story and being a member of the chaos sock club. Nope, not surprised at all. I worked in a lab with highly infectious substances. That means rational and calculated thinking was required. There are people behind the blood samples. I learned to reign in my feelings and emotions. To answer your question: I have immense fun to let my characters act in ways I'd like, sometimes. @Def: 'what was most remarkable was Noel's evolution and mine as a reader because of it' Wow! Just wow. Thank you so much! That's really not a little comment. @Val: I'm glad you think so to all of what you said. *hug* Thank you! You, Zombie and Val are part of it. Why am I not entirely convinced? lol I'm terrible with commas. Socks without their mate? Just make them one big tribe! *blush* That's because you never heard me butchering your language. lol Thank you! *hug* @Headstall: Gary, as always I am looking forward to your amazing comments.
