    11. He thinks about spring with its fresh green and tunes. People will be smiling more, kids run around shrieking. And in the park the band will play their song. He shivers lightly. Sun. 12. He thinks about summer with its clear, rich and lovely colors. People will sit in the shadow, dreaming about the lake which is glistening in the distance. Berlin. 13. He thinks about autumn, with its riot of red, black, yellow, purple, orange, pink and brown. But suddenly it gets quiet, m

  4. So....Poetry Anthology...
  5. LOL, I didn't request them, at least I didn't mean to. I was prepared to wait patiently for a prompt that fit. It's a nice one though. I didn't manage to finish it yet, I hope I can post it this weekend. Thank you, Wayne, for all those awesome prompt and this comment.

    1. The Poet A poet attempting to rhyme, while drinking a vodka with lime, likes the results so much he exults: “I’m trying a Derby next time!” Vodka Lime: http://www.absolutdrinks.com/en/drinks/vodka-lime/ Derby: http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2011/10/derby-cocktail-bourbon-vermouth-grand-marnier-lime-recipe.html 2. Daffodils swaying. Children are on the egg-hunt. A bumblebee hums. 3. Poetry Anthology 2015 4. Tulips Yellow, orange, pink, and violet, colors ma
  10. This was my attempt to partake in National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo). It has been an interesting experiment, I learned much but I didn't make it. The last week of the month has been too busy to write a poem a day. Anyway, I thought I use this collection to post the poems not belonging to a poetry prompt here from now on.
  11. Thick mortar embraces solid bricks. Its foundation deep, its structure high. There could just as well be the river Styx, and no money to pay the ferryman. Aye. Strong and sturdy, it faces the time. Its depth infinite, its width endless. No one will be able to make the climb, and no wings to carry those memories. Unless. Quiet and hidden, it yet appears. Its size deceptive, its meaning clear. A crack is forming, after countless years, and nothing will stop it from conquering. Fea
  12. Sometimes you don't want to remember. Right?
  13. That's a good thing. Right? Making you smile I mean, not hungry. LOL. Thank you, Lit.
  14. Memories are a mixed blessing, but I guess the more time goes by, the more the good things outweigh the hurt. Thank you, Lit.
  15. Lisa! Ha! Yes birds can be noise, bad, bad noise. LOL. The second was for Mike. I'm happy you liked them.
  16. Ah, yes you pointed out one of my weak spots: I can't help but try to get a melody into my poems. It's something I have to work at. I'm glad you liked it anyway and I'm definitely to finished with the two Quatrain set-up. Thank you, AC:

    Week 1

Poetry-writing frenzy! I like that. Especially after reading those three, Val. I'm a greedy, greedy person.
  18. 9. The only words I ever heard from you, about tomorrow is, I quote: ‘No chance! Annoying shit!’, and ‘Wasting of my time!’ Quotation ending here. I wonder why, all of a sudden, coming over then. Why asking all those questions? Tell me! Why? Hmm Curiosity? Fat chance! No way! I know you better my friend. Ha! You heard that little rumor. Right? The magic name. I knew it! Jo-nah! So predictable.
  19. You like it! That's all I need to know, Lit. Thank you so much. *hug*
  20. Spring words Tulip, daffodil, daisy, and snowdrop, All flowers are words when nature speaks spring. Thrushes and blackbirds nest in the treetop, The morning starts early, now that they sing. Strong words With you I can hear the colors tumult, and you help me to see the blackbird’s song. With you this will never be difficult, you just take my hand and I'm staying strong.
  21. I didn't know. Thank you for telling me! I'm trying to join in and will also share mine if all goes well. Look out for 'A fool's thoughts'.
  22. I'm so glad I got to read the chapter before I'm on Easter vacation. You managed to surprise me. Again. In most stories mothers are easily forgiven, despite what they did, just because they are mothers. From my own experience I know it is almost always expected. I don't agree. Kendall's mother made mistakes, but she earned forgivness, because in the end she did the right thing. It's good Michael saw this. Again. Loved it. Happy Easter, Gary!
  23. As I am team Rob: I like protective Rob. It suits him. And you made me think about underwear... This was a light and funny chapter, whatever mall-problems you had, I'd say you solved them just fine.
  24. Wow, this all went rather fast. Funny is, I'm totally okay with it. Obviously you did some good reasoning, because usually I always think that's way too fast, that can't really happen. Not this time, though. I can't wait for them meeting Michael and Kendall. *grin*
  25. Happy Easter, Gary! It seems Roman studied Martin a lot to know what he needed to do to get him to go out with him. Let's hope for a dinner prompt soon.
