    Crack In The Wall

The first stanza happened to come out as it did, and I had to simply accept its form and write the others accordingly.Be all the Poetry-Prompt-Geek you want. I will come back and read your comment again and again, especially when I struggle with the words again. Thank you so much!

Thank you, Cole. Fear itself appears indomitable at times, it needs to be conquered. I'm fairly new to poetry, I'm glad you loved it.

See! I'm glad you and your husband had fun. Thank you for your kind words, Lit, they made my week. Writing this short poems, playing with the words, is almost therapeutic for me. RL is very hectic and strenuous right now.

As I already told you, it's one poem a day, and this month I run around with a little note pad all the time and jut down words. You don't need to understand German, the translation is there, btw. Just try to speak the words, it's fun how they sound. I do that all the time with languages I don't speak and make the native speakers laugh.Thank you, Cole!

    11. He thinks about spring with its fresh green and tunes. People will be smiling more, kids run around shrieking. And in the park the band will play their song. He shivers lightly. Sun. 12. He thinks about summer with its clear, rich and lovely colors. People will sit in the shadow, dreaming about the lake which is glistening in the distance. Berlin. 13. He thinks about autumn, with its riot of red, black, yellow, purple, orange, pink and brown. But suddenly it gets quiet, m

  19. This was my attempt to partake in National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo). It has been an interesting experiment, I learned much but I didn't make it. The last week of the month has been too busy to write a poem a day. Anyway, I thought I use this collection to post the poems not belonging to a poetry prompt here from now on.
  20. Thick mortar embraces solid bricks. Its foundation deep, its structure high. There could just as well be the river Styx, and no money to pay the ferryman. Aye. Strong and sturdy, it faces the time. Its depth infinite, its width endless. No one will be able to make the climb, and no wings to carry those memories. Unless. Quiet and hidden, it yet appears. Its size deceptive, its meaning clear. A crack is forming, after countless years, and nothing will stop it from conquering. Fea
  21. Sometimes you don't want to remember. Right?
  22. That's a good thing. Right? Making you smile I mean, not hungry. LOL. Thank you, Lit.
  23. Memories are a mixed blessing, but I guess the more time goes by, the more the good things outweigh the hurt. Thank you, Lit.
  24. Lisa! Ha! Yes birds can be noise, bad, bad noise. LOL. The second was for Mike. I'm happy you liked them.
  25. Ah, yes you pointed out one of my weak spots: I can't help but try to get a melody into my poems. It's something I have to work at. I'm glad you liked it anyway and I'm definitely to finished with the two Quatrain set-up. Thank you, AC:
