Maybe you're meeting him at my bar someday and do just that. I bet Alan would be grateful. You only understand regret when you have felt it. Thank you, Gary. After reading your review I want to revisit Alan...after he met you.Thank you, Gary. This meant a lot to me.

Hi, Gary! I'm glad to have you on board. As Martin said, that's not who he is. I don't think I could write someone who'd accepted that offer, to be honest. Thanks for your review!
  4. Arron still needs a lot of reassurance and Chet is willing to give it to him. Although Chet has been hurt by Ian, I have the feeling that Arron suffered more because of what Dwayne did. Maybe that's just how he is. Good he has Chat now. Beautiful chapter, Gary.

Scary indeed. I miss the music.
  6. Maybe Martin's boss knows what loneliness means? You just gave me a story idea... Thank you, Lisa! Dinner, yes, if all goes well I'll be writing that prompt story in Italy.
  7. LOL, thanks, Val. Yep, a problem (embarrassment) shared is a problem halved, at least so they say. Let's see what Friday's prompts bring.
  8. Thank you, Lit! I bought a colomba, a traditional Italian Easter cake, saw some guys in bunny costumes, and thought why not write an early Easter prompt story. I'm glad you liked it. Now we wait for Wayne...
  9. That's scary indeed. Now I can't wait to read yours.
  10. “You honestly think I would wear something like that?” Martin stared at the garment draped over his boss’ arm and shuddered. “I do.“ “Well, I’m not. Ask Jessa. She loves stuff like this.” Martin flicked some invisible lint from his dark tan slacks, pulled at the short sleeves of his tight, white, V-neck tee-shirt, and took in a deep breath. He still wasn’t able to shake this little nervousness before he had to go out on the stage, even after all these years. “I already did. She agreed to take
  11. Yep. 405 's looking good.
  12. That was remarkable self-reflection on Arron's side. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he did, it shows how important Chet became to him. He was able to push his fears aside. And Chet? He was sleeping? I couldn't have slept after that. Good thing Arron insisted to clear everything up the very evening and was able to wake him eventually.
  13. They are still very new, even though they moved fast and thought they had it all figured out. Arron's reaction showed this clearly. You can't build genuine trust in such a short time. It really looked bad. Would Chet have reacted the same way, if Dwayne had been at Arron's house? Who knows? No really, if you've been hurt bad, you always remember this and try to avoid that it ever happens again at all cost, that's not a conscious decision. I understand Arron. So, my trust is in you, Gary. Go fix this! ASAP! Lol.
  14. Awww...Only Ian probably still being at Chet's let's me not fully enjoying this chapter. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Arron's trust is still a bit fragile I think...God's I'm nervous. Lol I'm an idiot, hahaha. Great chapter, Gary.
  15. I'm working on the purple eyes...
  16. Thank you, Renee, for featuring my poem.
  17. I so want more 'likes. Hahaha.
  18. Thank you! Now I'm going to work hung over...but it has been so worth it.
  19. I am out of likes, but I really, really like all your comments. Thank you. Purple. Can you believe it?
  20. On my way...
  21. What a wonderful color to come home to! Thank you!
  22. No, no, no! I have a very bad feeling. Gah! I do not want to read the next chapter. Almost. I guess I'm having dinner first. Or maybe not.
  23. Love on first sight - a fragile thing, so easily disturbed. I have a good feeling though, they each have a story to tell, experiences gained. I'm glad Arron made it out of the door, if only barely. Haha. That would have definitely be too fast. I like the eye-pet names. Love it, Gary!
  24. Uh-oh...Arron reminds me of er...me. lol The preparations for the date as well as his reaction to the mix-up. Temper, temper. haha. And insecurity. Great chapter, Gary.
  25. I stood on his boots in my socked feet and we walked together through the house, they really were that big. Little mouse was my nickname...I was pretty small back then.Thank you, Irri, for your kind words. I'm so happy the poem has been received this well. I feel like I could give him something back.
