  1. Happy birthday! Enjoy your special day.
  2. I second that and wolves aren't dogs. I also apologize for .
  3. So sorry to disappoint... Those aren't lederhosen. You tell me.
  4. TV producers have to make money, therefore they show what the majority wants to see: stereotypes, characters they can easy identify as the typical gay man, baker, lawyer, nerd, w/e, otherwise the show flops. If you want to see diversity, the genuine thing, you have to get to know real people and not watch TV. I don't know how many people thought I'd be blond, have blue eyes, a cuckoo clock, lederhosen and live in a gingerbread house, among other things.
  5. Good idea. We could even have met, maybe be neighbors, imagine that.
  6. Blatantly ignoring all the science crap I'd go back a few years to tell idiot addy to face certain truths head on dammit. Or I'd go back in time to see dead Richard Wagner in his gondola in Venice.
  7. I thought I had stopped wondering what people are willing to do in front of a camera long ago. *hums Pink's 'Stupid Girls*

    Big Day Today

After I got all the Z's sorted this was a wonderful, funny and moving feel good story. Thank you for sharing. Still, there is one Z left.

    Sit, Stay, Beg

This is what I would call a chapter with a twist. I might listen to my mother more now.

    Serious Shopping

I can't believe they (you) chose a mokume gane ring! (Okay this doesn't belong here, sorry) What I really liked was that Bay found the right ring.

    Cohabitation

I'm going to miss Zoltan I'm sure, but hey there is a story to tell about the other Z building schools in Ugands of all countries, I'm just saying.
  12. I could almost hear the 'good sounds' and taste the food... Very nice chapter, wolfie.
  13. Aww there is enough stuff of him, with little half smiles too, without contamination.
  14. Good to know, my teacher said sampoñas are a subgroup of the pan flutes, but I'm always happy to learn something new. And yes Z. is absolutely right, whether it's called pan flutes, sampoñas, nai or whatnot I will definitely run.
  15. I think this is a very unique approach and something most reviewers don't see like you do, otherwise they wouldn't speak to the author directly in their reviews, like so many do. I write reviews to communicate with an author, give them feedback or encourage them. Feedback as in telling them what I like and what I didn't like, in a polite way of course. I also write for the readers, naturally, if there are readers who actually read reviews before they start to read the story. I never do that because I want make up my own mind, like to learn what is behind an intriuging title, or just because I'm curious. As an author reading about mistakes I made, or I might have made in the eyes of a reviewer doesn't make me happy. If it is justified, I repair it, if it isn't justified I take in a deep breath and try to discuss it with said reviewer. The perks of writing in/for a forum or community. Almost every author I know gets something out of reviews, whether it was the intention of the reviewer or not, so they are for them/us too.
  16. Touching works for me only together with scent. If someone smells good I like their touch and sometimes even get the tingling sensation, otherwise it makes me jump out of my skin. Haircut is bad, it always stinks of weird hairproducts and uh...scissors are bad too.
  17. Now I'm hearing pan flutes and bagpipes. Together! Yikes!
  18. Without coffee I wouldn't find the shower in the morning, so dope first, then water and as long as nobody talks to me before my first coffee I'm nice. When I run I'll shower in the evening.
  19. Happy birthday Jo Ann!
  20. Happy birthday Cia!
  21. Nah, never had any problems. Tats are mostly well hidden, if I'd showed them at work I would be in trouble, and not because of the tats. Until some years ago I had waist long hair, my boss had no problems with that, as long as it was braided, only for safety reasons though, working in a lab and all.
  22. We have many buskers here and I have to admit every time I hear a pan flute I run. Yikes. But we also had this little old man in a wheel chair who played the violin so beautifully you could weep. We even looked for him sometimes when we were in the city and were very sad when we heard he passed away.
  23. Ah, you retaliate for munching on your men by munching on fish. Very patriotic.
  24. Happy belated birthday Mike! Sorry for the lateness but I traipsed around some mountains when this thread came up.

    Jazz

You're welcome. The alto-sax and the piano are my favorite instruments.
