I'm not very good at writing things like reviews, but I'm going to put extra effort into this one. As much as I love Silver, and appreciate what he lived through, I have to say that I rather liked River more. I can't really explain why, but I do. This story was edgy, sweet, and very exciting. I had trouble tearing myself away even just to pee. It gripped me right from the start, and kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end. I must confess, though, that I peeked at the last chapter before I delved into this story. You see, I prefer reading things that have a happily ever after (or at least a happily for now), because I tend to get emotionally involved with the characters and the story. So when I started reading this, I already knew the ending. However, that did not, in any way, diminish the story, or lessen the impact. I loved this story thoroughly and completely, and I will probably end up reading it again some day. I am rather terrified to read Enigma II, though. If I do, I will most likely peek at the end just like I did here. But I like this story, and I love the characters, that I might end up reading Enigma II even if I find it doesn't end as happily. Oh, and, one more thing. I hereby proclaim you as one of my all-time favorite authors.

Beautiful chapter. Heartrendingly sad, but beautiful. It sounds like Silver went through the same thing Nikki did. I wouldn't be surprised if Silver was in the same ring, or a branch of it. Now, for River... I sense a whole helluva lot of grief and self-blame in him that he hasn't dealt with. I think he punishes himself with bad relationships, and never lets "beautiful" men get close, because they remind him of Nikki in a way. Onward to the next chapter!

*Sniffles and grabs Kleenex* Wow. Your stories seem to all (so far, at least) make me into an emotional wreck. This was absolutely beautiful. Breathtaking, even. I am so glad they got a happy ending. They are such sweet boys.

Ahhh. Sweet, innocent love. This was a very touching story, and despite myself, I kept getting teary-eyed. Marc is definitely Special, but I think "his" Jamie is also Special. It definitely takes a special person to not only become great friends with a Special person, but to also fall in love with them. If you keep spitting out stories as good as this, I'll be forced to proclaim you as one of my all-time favorite writers.

...I have a bad, bad feeling about this secret. I dunno... it could just be because I've been awake over 24 hours now, but... Something keeps nagging at me. I really, really hope I'm wrong. Great story, btw. I absolutely HAVE to know if this secret is what my overtired brain keeps whispering to me.

I really dislike sad endings. They make me... sad. I really, really, really, wish Daniel had lived. Beautifully haunting, this story will stick with me. Great job.

One, I think Chad was a coward for sneaking out in the night like that. Two, I think Tibial is a coward for not telling Mia the truth. Three, Mia is seriously delusional if she thinks she can make Tibial happy. Four... Well, there better be more, or I'll have to come hunt you down. J/k about hunting you down, but seriously. I'm not sure if you're planning on writing more for this or not, but I really, really, really hope you do. I'm personally wishing for a happily ever after for Tibial and Chad.

This story was so sweet! I loved it. I was so hoping that he would get with Darry.

Omg. I'm, like, literally sobbing. I've teared up before. I've had tear tracks before. But never have I actually sobbed at a story. I hate you for ending it this way. ...Okay, not really. But still. Damn. My hands aren't enough to dry my tears, which, again, has never happened while reading a story. This was beautiful, not to mention my first time reading a story in the form of a blog. I give you And also? I've decided that you are very, very evil.

That's the end? I have to be honest with you; I was really, really enjoying this story, but the ending, well, it was seriously lacking, in my opinion. That doesn't sound like an ending to a story. There's no closure or anything.

Wow. Just... wow. I loved this. I'd love to know if Timothy called his name, but I don't need to know. Perfect ending to a wonderful story.
