Was surprised to see this one. I look forward to seeing this guy get his shit together. Huh, I didn't remember Danny admitting to being a little tease like that. He did nothing with him after all those months? What the heck did they do? Just hang out? I have to go back and re-read the first chapter or so to see what he says about the ex. I have to be honest, he seems to like the big guys a lot too. he doesn't just like the Danny and Ian types. He seems to have gone off on a little trip when talking about Jake and then noticing his friend, Carl too. You sure Ian will be the one to catch his attention? look forward to more.

I don't trust this Mason. I think Alex would be much better off with Paolo. I think Paolo was trying to take it slow and build something with him and didn't expect Alex to meet someone. I'm hoping he will save poor Alex from himself when we get back to the present. There is that chance since he lives near him at home. I hope we get to that soon I'm quickly over Mason and hope he is too! (chanting) Paolo, Paolo, Paolo!!!

So when will we find out why he's in a half-way house? Unless it's different in AU. I assume you are talking about a place for kids who have no parents? Or is it like here that you go in after you get into trouble with the law or after you come out of a drug/alcohol rehab? Man, those Tim Tams are good lol My new sis-in-law from AU gets them for us. I'd have liked to find out what happened to his parents. Jarrod seems like a nice guy. The whole thing with the guy who is paying him for pics is strange. Why isn't Paul wondering how the hell they found him and know so much about him? Shouldn't he be freaked out? I assume he's going to end up on that website when he next logs on. It would explain the pics and why they knew he uses the site. It almost seems like the other guys at the half-way house are in on it. But, prob just kids being kids.

the funniest part of this was the content warning...at the end. I know you told us we should look, but who would take the time to? lol. It just made me laugh after reading the crazy sex they had, to see the warning. Ok, I can see the one person's complaint about Mick being with Riley and Takashi (who I am dying to know what he is). And I am not a fan of being poly-amorous. But, he isn't mated to Guy or even in a serious relationship. In fact, due to his issues, he wasn't even sure he'd see Guy again when he left for this job. That said, I agree with Timothy that he 'needed' what happened to deal with his fae-illness. Ok, so Takashi decided to enjoy himself and amp it up a bit lol, but Mick was at his home to sleep with him. Seems Takashi was hiding some large parts of himself, and I don't mean his claws! I would like to see Mick and Guy get together. I think they could be good for one another and that could still happen I am sure. Clearly, Takashi and Riley are really well-suited for one another in their sexual tastes. But, I do wonder what would happen with Mick's need to 'touch' a fae. Would calling Riley for a hug session be enough? lol Sounds like there is that there will be that need from then on. I don't see Guy sharing. I'm not sure how he will react when Mick gets home and possibly has these other scents on him which Guy's werewolf nose might smell I kinda wouldn't be upset if he didn't see Takashi again. I think he would be someone Mick would enjoy hooking up with, but I think he does need more, even if he doesn't know that yet. I think Mick has a lot of issues to deal with still. I do wonder if Riley will stay in touch b/c I think he will need the support to learn about his fae ancestry. I really would like to find out, if possible, more about whether his parents dumped him at the hospital to save him or what. It sounds like, with the timing, he could have been born after his parents ran. I don't know how long a pregnancy is for fae, but it sounds like his parents escaped The Hunt, at least for a few years. I don't think anyone knows about Mick at this point. The good thing is that he doesn't have to be a changeling b/c there was no baby he was 'replacing.' Sounds like he was just put under a glamour and left at a hospital. Might I say, that Queen of the fae sounds like a real terrible pers...umm, fae! She sounds like a really nasty bitch. I enjoyed this chapter, probably b/c it could be seen as really hot sex that was needed as a prescription to help that skin-starvation. I'll be interested if he can return, or wants to return, to a more normal lifestyle. I guess he could feel hooked to the great sex, and moreso, the respite that Takashi can provide by tamping down his empathic abilities. But, we shall see. I look forward to seeing how he'll deal with his new awareness about himself and how will he deal with things like his need for a glamour, etc. Looking forward to more.

Hey Rob, you had a lot to live up to with the Timber Pack Chronicles being so well received and loved from the minute you posted it on the other site. I think you totally met the high expectations with this book, though I think that unlike many series which begin with other characters' stories and give you glimpses of past characters, it was a close continuation of the threads in the first and I hope the third picks up and intertwines the threads from this one tightly too. Of course most of us are excited about Zef and Alpha Miller's potential for being mates. It will be interesting to see how dominant Zef is compared to Jed and his dad. Would he have the makings of an enforcer or display similar strength behind his potential place as Alpha-mate? I also think many of us expect trouble with Derek and Shawna to come their way eventually and with the hunters, though not the ones who had Wylie (lol), but others still out there. Ok, so many of us are waiting for book 3 already lol...but that's a compliment. I loved this book. It was a great story for Jed and Buzz. I like that you really developed Buzz as a character and continued to develop Jed even more than in book one. The book had excitement with the hunters and treachery with Derek's pack and it had the sweet parts with Wylie and his new family and baby Rose. I was super happy for Colton and Parker who clearly make great parents and while it may have happened earlier than they expected, they wear it well. The one thing that disappointed me is Colton's attitude with his dad. Overall, his father loved him and raised him. He supported him and moved him away and to Forest View pack when Colton got in trouble with his old pack's son. I kinda cheered his dad on when he said 'technically it's my name.' Ok, so challenging an Alpha isn't smart, but Colton has a shitty attitude where his dad is concerned. Just b/c he's an Alpha doesn't mean he should show his father no respect. I'm not sure what his father did that was so terrible and would have liked it to be more clear why he is still holding such a grudge for. If it were Parker's Dad, attitude would be well-deserved. I hope he comes around and they can re-build a relationship. I think his dad would like to have a relationship with Wylie (yea, I know it's Christopher...still a cute nick-name). That kid is going to kick ass some day just like Colton...maybe someday you'll do his story? lol (you have such demanding readers!) I want to give you a huge thanks for choosing to share this with us as part of the free lit on GA. You certainly had the ability to turn this into a must-buy book, and it is really appreciated that you shared it with us all like you did. Good luck with Book 3! I think Seth could be working with hunters, though given the fact that info on him and his father was included on the hard drive, that might not be from him. He hates Colton! It is clear he has hated him from minute one and hated him even more when, unlike him, he was an Alpha and Alpha Forrest knocked him down several pegs in front of the Forrest (and future Timber) packs. I'd like to know more about the hunters. Are they organized by someone? Are they just group of humans who hate shifters? Who is pulling their strings. It is clear the group who had Shell and Wylie weren't the sharpest tools. I'm glad that given the fact that Timber is smaller than most packs, etc., it stands to reason that if Zef mates with Alpha Miller, Miller will help protect his brother's pack, esp after they worked in tandem to get his pack members back too.

Anyway, I'm hoping you'll let us know what drew Mason to Alex. Is it his innocence/lack of experience? Here you have this international business man who is clearly hot and Alex is probably good looking, but he's so awkward and inexperienced that you wouldn't expect him to be paired up with someone like Mason. Though Alex showed balls going up to this hot guy's table and sitting down with him, even if he was like a scared rabbit! He should have that as a nickname lol. I have to say that it is hard to read a story that starts with a character in misery, like it does with Alex. I assume you will go beyond the point he is at once you bring us up to the break-up? It's hard to get into the romance and joy the character experiences when you see it isn't a HEA. So, hopefully you will go beyond that point and let the characters get back together somehow.

I felt like I was back in school. This was fitting for a philosophy class or literature during the existential/metaphysical portion of the course. I really enjoyed your take on love and life and the beyond. It was interesting. So there was the part of me reading it from that view and the part reading it like it was a romance and I felt badly for him when he was going to lose a man he had fallen in love with. Even with the proof of being at the project center and seeing him disappear, I'd think he'd be on the way to the loony bin if not for Dominic lol who confirmed what he was told by angelo. An interesting piece.

Sometimes it's a compliment when someone doesn't leave reviews lol. Your story was wonderful. As an animal lover, Pen made it worth it--he was just adorable! And pet therapy is such a great thing. I always wish I could get my parrots certified....at least the ones I think would be good at it. Everyone does expect it to just be dogs doing that work. The only thing that would have been an improvement of Pen's story would have been if he and Timmy got together hehe The story was written at a nice pace (though that was improved by the fact that I caught it first when it was complete already. God, was I glad when you gave that terrible scare!) And about that scare, lol I thought you were going to have him meet Eric when taking Pen to do the therapy job. I was like 'no she didn't..this is not going to be about Pen joining men up!' lol. You had me nervous for a few moments there. I really enjoyed the side character of Robbie and I guessed that he and Sean's sis might hook up...good thing she's a tough one...he needs to be reigned in. I am hoping for her sake, that Sean, Danny and him had a hot night together b/c that boy was definitely bi-curious! That was so funny to imagine their daughter walking throwing roses with the cat batting at them. lol And then she ran to her mom crying. we've all seen kids who end up not making it down the aisle or have to be carried half way. lol it was cute. I was glad you put the epilogue a few years later and gave credence to the fact that it would be necessary for him to recover from the abuse and damage done by Trevor, despite the love from Robbie and Sean. I was thrilled that Trevor got his in the end. He was horrible. I thought the emotions came through very well when describing poor Sean getting a 'Dear John' break-up text. And the difficulty a friend (or family) goes through watching someone they love being abused. The helplessness of the loved ones and the isolation of the victim by the abuser or by the abused to protect their loved ones. Thanks for the story.

I think they had a great first date. It was cute that Erin brought him flowers... it was a bit old fashioned, though not lame like Jame said, and it was adorable. More people should do things like that. They really are well matched I think. They are certainly able to be more open with one another about their feelings and insecurities and all kinds of things, than many married couples are. They have a good start. I am wondering what stage of planning for next year are they in? Are they looking for schools already. Here, in the US, they'd be filling out applications already and taking the standardized tests to go to college/uni. It will be interesting to see if this goes that far...I think it will!! I was very surprised that Luke bottomed the first time. Did he bottom for Jeremy, I wonder? I was surprised they forgot protection, only b/c Jameson is the type to put a condom in his wallet with a note to the both of them. lol I laughed hard when Luke had to go back into the bathroom with Jame who asks if he's staying or going... “Is there a magical third option which doesn’t leave me trapped in a bathroom with my boyfriend’s half naked twin?” of course Jame was totally okay with it, while Luke was mortified lol... I love Jame. I really like these boys a lot and look forward to seeing how their relationship progresses. I may regret this, but things are really going smoothly for them....I think a wrench has to be thrown in to test them! sorry to the people throwing stuff at me.

Enjoyed this chapter b/c of the bonding they are doing. I would like to know more of how he feel about these strong feelings and how taken they are with one another? Tate understands this is a natural result of the bond. I wonder how much time Tate will give it before he reveals himself and his world. I think if he waits too long, he runs the risk of his mate feeling lied to and it will also help, if he is okay with it, to explain to him why he feels this connection. The whole bear tat thing is weird. What does Tate know about that symbol? It's even more interesting b/c it is clearly hidden within it and not an overt design. I really want to know...is he some other type of paranormal? But why have a bear symbol. What does it mean!!?? I want to know! I hope you tell us soon and I am kinda glad you've managed to keep things HOT between them without it goin all the way. Tate gets points for not having sex with him till he knows the truth. I think he knows he may not be able to control his bear too Looking forward to the next installment...please make it soon!

Excellent chapter!!! I really enjoyed it. Wow that steve was a sneaky bastard. not very bright. That clan leader isn't in control if he'd sense that and feel uncomfortable instead of addressing it with his clan member. I give both boys a lot of respect for how they dealt with it and his mom's response was a big surprise. I am glad for him that she came around. I do think she should have called and warned her son though. What if Tim had been hurt. I was glad to finally see an update and had just checked yesterday for one. Looking forward to the next~

lmao....like father like daughter, huh! That little speech made her dad proud I am sure! Her creative and descriptive language when referring to him showed the apple didn't fall far from the tree! It was nice to see that they were doing well years later and to get a view of Meg. It was nice to see that Jacob got to be a dad, or uh pa, since he enjoyed his nieces and nephews so much. Her anger issues were a little worse than her dad b/c they didn't get violent with one another, at least not out of bed. lol That might be a problem for her in the future given the fact that self-control or the ability to change are not strong traits in her blood~ I think it was great to portray her as being so damn smart for her age, and having such insight into herself and people. It was like seeing the type of little person Marcus and Jacob would have had if they had been the parents And it was sweet that she was so close to Pa, which probably is b/c she is a lot like her dad and Jacob was the only person who could get past Marcus' walls and he was used to taking care of him in the background. I do kinda wish we'd had a bit more of view into their relationship as it moved forward. I understood having it from her POV that couldn't be done. I think it would have been good (and we're used to pre-quells (which worked well b/c it was crazy like these two anyway so if you agree, just do it and add it in lol!) I'd have liked to see Jacob meet Meg and maybe have it skip ahead some years and show them dealing with one another from their POV like the main stories and I'd love to see the way you'd play out an engagement--who asked who!?. That would still allow for room for this story from her POV. I know someone mentioned an epilogue but I'd like to see the other more. Though an epilogue would be just as welcome after that Great series and thanks for all the great stories on these two. I have to say there should be an award for most creative name calling a you'd definitely get first place. lol and I look forward to more characters you create in other stores. these two are great b/c they are so flawed. Together they do work better as Jacob said. What will the next characters be like? It will be fun to see.

I really enjoyed this b/c I think you stayed true to the characters and the roughness of them, the jagged edges and cracks, but you had them grow up a bit and learn what they had with each other. I think it wasn't cheesy b/c a huge part of their relationship at uni was this inability to express affection or put labels and it was a bit deal for even facial expressions to show how they felt. So, it showed how they both had grown up and lived without one another and the contrast in how they felt was big enough that they finally could put the emotions out there. I think it was really well done. The thing that I may have missed or maybe it could have been clearer, was what sent Marcus into a drunken spiral that night. Usually it was something big that made him that bad. Was it that he hadn't seen Jacob and being without his daughter? Just wondering. I'd be happy to see more of these guys. Great show here. I think there is one more story I hadn't seen. So, I'm off to check. I missed it somehow...are they still talking to you after that story?

Will this story be finished? This was very riveting from the beginning. A great pace that kept it exciting. I knew when Ch. 5 got here that it would either be a poor excuse for an ending--a rush job-- or it wasn't finished. Overall, this story was a change of pace for your work. Because it was set in the US, there wasn't the deeply cultural themes that are in the other stories by you, that I have read. It was an interesting change, neither good nor bad, just different. I want to know how this ends badly. I can't see how it could work. I can't see how he'd ever be safe unless every bit of the Takumi family/mob were eradicated. I'm sure nowadays, there is no hiding in a case like this unless you move to some small country and live in the middle of no where with no ID, electronic things that can be traced, credit cards, etc. And Jason is a business man with a talent, living in a town he always has and where he is settled. How could Toshi ask him to leave that and go with him? I think Jason would consider it. It is clear they have deep feelings for one another. Well, I hope this is going to be finished, since I thought it listed a complete, but I must have been mistaken. Will Toshi ever meet his parents? Will they have a chance to be together as a couple? How will Jason digest all of this information? When will he make Toshi a piece of jewelery? lol Lookin forward to more!!!

That was a really beautiful chapter! There were a bunch of really special moments that you did a great job writing. I am so glad Parker and Colton are keeping Wylie. I worried for a moment there, that his father would be found. One of those moments was the emotion that Parker showed when he feared they'd take Wylie. It would have wrecked him. He loved the boy from the first time he picked him up. Do they know if Sandra was killed by the hunters? It was so funny when Wylie called Parker 'pup.' lol I have a feeling he is going to make a great Alpha wolf someday. It was nice to see Buzz officially become Timber pack and of course seeing the kids become pack and Wylie to call Colton Dad was so sweet. The fact that Wylie's name was the same as that boy's was bittersweet. While I get Buzz's happiness that the child would grow up loved no matter who and what he was is a nice thought. I just can't get the image of Christopher looking to Buzz for help right before they killed him. He looked to the man he had slept with and who was the only one of them who wasn't so hateful. I am surprised Buzz has dealt with that as well as he has. I would feel really guilty if I were him, b/c he was targeted to prove a point to Buzz. They may have found out anyhow, but this way it must have felt like he was partly responsible for his death, esp when he could do nothing to save him. I hope the story isn't over. I know that Derek won't let this go as easily as he pretended to. I think he is going to want to have the last say and going to want to kill his abomination of a brother and also show Colton up. I guess we'll see. If it was the end, then it was a great one. It was adorable that Wylie climbed up for a ride on colton. The pack is stronger and such a safe place. Though, I also hope we get to be there for the official mating of the guys. I am definitely excited though, and already looking forward to Zef's story that we'll all be begging for! lol no pressure or anything. I hope we get to be there for that mating bite. It was a hard earned moment for those two. I am wondering if Colton really did send the registry for their mating. I have a feeling he may have. He seems to have taken to being an Alpha amazingly well. They really have built a great pack in the year since they became one. I love how you continued to develop the characters and their personalities through this. Parker makes the cutest dad...so worried about him and colton really surprised me with how well he took to fatherhood. I hope Wylie can come to trust the others like he trusts his dads.

and I was waiting for the thanks for my present ...and the tat too! lol i'd like to see noah get a tat too.....and let Derek walk by and look in the window while it's being done! or Reagan walks in and Noah asks whether the tattoo artist is on the 'e' or the 'k' yet! I loved Eli and Noah and the only thing missing for me was for them to spend a bit of off time at 'The Buckle!' And not hiding in back offices! Stinks when your stories end, but it's always fun to see what else comes. Personally, i'm happy with reading the enforcer for now. Now if you have to put out something on Wed. I'd take an extra chapter of that there wouldn't be complaints from anyone else either, I'd bet!

This seems to be a good story. Though I think Brian needs to start acting like a future alpha. What is he doing? is he waiting for another attack? He needs to debrief Adrian and find out everything he can and then plan with his dad what to do. I look forward to something developing between brian and Adrian. I thought Brian's feelings were really valid. You really caught me off guard when Alex ended up being bad...which was fun to be surprised so much by a story. It would be terrible to be a brother finding out your younger brother was evil. I hope he pulls his strength together for the pack. I found one thing to not make sense. Alex was set on having Adrian. It was almost an obsession. I can't imagine why he'd leave him with Brian. Especially if he had his rogues with him. Brian wasn't a threat alone. I am wondering why he gave up Adrian.

Well worth the wait! Great chapter. It was so sad when Jed said 'It was all I had of you.' Man, Buzz must have felt teeny tiny in that moment! The love between them really came out and their getting together in bed was well worth the wait and hot as hell Possibly even hotter than colton and parker, though the dynamic is different between the two couples b/c Parker was so much less dominant. I hope they enjoy this moment of calm b/c I don't think it will last long. I just hope they don't regret not finishing the mating. My question is, if a female is more dominant than her partner, would she bite him in a mating? My fear is Shawna showing up and trying to claim Buzz. She seems like a motivated woman who might just be more dominant because of it.

LOL I really laughed when Colton was calling them both 'pup.' I guess I was surprised initially to find Colton doing as much of the parenting with Wylie as he was. I expected Parker to be mainly dealing with him. But, I'm less surprised as I see him having the will of a little Colton lol. He will be a handful. I know it sounds mean, but I think they make a sweet family. But, then I think about his poor parents who had their baby stolen...if they're not alive, I hope they will keep him. (Terrible me, wishing poor wylie's parents away so they can keep him lol) Colton seems to be a natural parent...and not just with disciplining which I'd attribute to being an Alpha. He plays with the little guy too. It's really sweet. It was nice to see Trey meet Buzz and I bet they'll need him before the next chapter is out. I kinda wanted the action to continue but they needed to slow down and have some time together. I kinda wish they'd gotten into more personal topics so we got to know buzz a bit better, though I know you implied they had in their phone calls. I'd like to know a bit more about him though. I can't wait to meet Michelle's and Curtis' baby too. I'm not sure what that database was all about. Is it just hunters or someone else? It was nice to see some stuff about Jed's family. look forward to the coming excitement.
