I've enjoyed the story so far. I am very surprised that his father isn't there. He was the one who searched and didn't give up supposedly. I thought he'd be there immediately if he knew his son was found. maybe you have a better reunion for them? I'm glad he has had a chance to meet his mom. I feel so badly for the woman. His disappearing on her watch, while she fell asleep, must have killed her all these years. She'd have to blame herself. I wonder if his father has blamed her too? I don't remember if they said if they are still married. I don't know how Toshi plans to move forward. It will be amazing if he makes it out of the hospital alive. Mobsters have ways of getting to someone wherever they are. Send a nurse in with a drug to kill him or something. He'd be easily killed in prison. If he goes into hiding after testifying, how can he ask Jason to give up the life he loves? How can he ask him to give up his store and his friends and the small town that he grew up in? Also, how can he build a relationship with his parents? He won't be able to have contact with anyone from his 'old life.' His parents will be watched of course. will they have to give him up right when they found him? It is rather sad! I'd like to know where he put the money he stole? It should be interesting to see where you go with the end of this. I look forward to more!

Not sure how I missed this story...kinda glad I did so I didn't have to wait for updates I love these characters and must thank you for not making us wait for 20 chapters before they (well Tony, really) got their start as a couple. I knew there were so many chapters as I started it and feared it would not work out for them until closer to the end! i'd have gone crazy. this was well-done timing-wise. You were able to show us his growth into his true self and sexual identity, which I think is important for their future. I think the sexual attack was handled respectfully, though I think it would have left more trauma. One thread I hope doesn't unravel things is those thoughts he had over the years, about TJ. If TJ comes to him and says he reacted violently b/c he knew he was gay (the kid sounded like a real dick), I hope he doesn't flounder. i'm so glad they are together. I just hope that the rest of the story doesn't become too tortuous. i'd like to think it will be smooth sailing, but there are too many chapters left for me to be sure of that. I do think that Scott ended up being a cool guy. that had to be hard for him to give Tony the chance and it showed he really did care for and possibly love Marcus enough to see that he was happy even if it would be hard for him to watch. maybe you can do his story??? I do wonder if I wouldn't have been a bit perturbed with Tony if I were marcus' family. it had to be hard to watch Marcus love him and help him and not be able to help. I do hope that Marcus can depend on Tony bc till now, Tony has used him as a crutch through everything, but he has asked for nothing. I am wondering what these other chapters have in store for us. Enjoying this a lot. look forward to more.

I was wondering.....was Sheshton trying to have yuisi's mate think Yuri was his mate just so he'd collect him and bring him to Sheshton? If so, what did he do that Yuisi's mate wasn't thinking clearly enough to realize he was going after someone other than Yuisi? how did they control his mind that way? I am interested in how Benny thinks he could be alpha...unlike yuri, he wasn't ever supposed to be alpha, so wouldn't have any real experience. I guess Velaku can help him. Yuri will make a good Alpha if he can recover the progress he'd made. Was the improvement from the venom lost or is he just dealing with being in shock from the trauma that being at his father's mercy again brought on? I hope Benny tells Yuri he's going to come back. Is he in his right mind enough to be upset by Benny's absence? Can't wait for more!!!

Interesting chapter....a lot of things left unsaid in it. You have the comments by Mark...does he mean he has fallen in love with Daniel? Him speaking of falling in love for different reasons and about what it means to be a real friend may be saying that. Him reaching his pinky out to touch Dan's was sweet. Then there is Grey and the redhead. I think the redhead is up to no good. is Grey also up to no good or did he catch the redhead at something? What were they discussing or arguing about the night before? And what about Grey's wife? The colonel can say it is fair as a system, but I disagree. In that system, women and children and older people are doomed to be cold, hungry and sick as a result. They will be b/c they aren't suited to doing the jobs that earn the big money. It still seems unfair to me. Why not give Dan a realistic amount of time to grow the algae? Throwing him out means he doesn't get that lifesaving info. though, I guess he figures, after the two weeks it is watch and wait so he may figure he doesn't need Dan once others know how to grow it. If I were Dan, I'd keep my knowledge really close to my chest since those are the cards he's holding. I can't imagine how Grey's plan could possibly work. there were too many infected to drive through them and get out of the car afterwards. Not to mention, there wouldn't be a way to get back into it. I am really unsure how he thinks this will work. Also, what is this now about being able to amputate and possibly stop the infection? Will we hear more about that? why weren't the guys really interested in knowing more. they thought that any scratch or bite was a death, or an undead, sentence. This would be a big thing, I would think.

sweet. I enjoyed this a lot. I like the world you created for your vamps and witches and it's cool to get the stories of other characters. I personally can't wait for Jackson and Casey's story. My question is why Casey can't feel the bond? Shouldn't he be feeling drawn to Jackson, and not in a fatherly way. Why is Jackson not telling Casey? Why isn't he trying to work on their relationship? can't wait for more.

OOOH mean cliffhanger. I hope it is updated soon! One small note is he wouldn't have done practice as that is 'physical activity' and wouldn't be good after a head injury earlier in the day. I also think the nurse seemed to make a decision to quickly about how bad it was...just to be more realistic, I'd recommend looking up what would be checked and how it would be treated or judged in severity. Realistic details always make a story better. Those are just things I'd say as a beta reader. Aside from that I am really interested in the story! What is going to happen when Brett has to kill someone. will you go dark and make him hurt someone? is Cameron one? That wouldln't be such a waste haha. But really, these hunters are messed up. Killing wolves who aren't causing trouble. will Brett go after Jordan or his friends? More importantly will Liam find out soon about Jordan and his secret and what he is to him? I hope so. For some reason, the way you wrote Greg as a character left me emotional each time we return to his tragic end. It is strange b/c we don't even know him that well. It was heartbreaking to picture luke listening to that message over and over, trying to hold onto his brother...to hold onto the sound of his voice and his scent. to want to give anything to go back a few hours and not let this hell be real. I think the emotion is largely sadness for Luke. Losing a sibling like that is horrid. But, back to the story...I can't believe his mother. how horrible is she, to try to put her other son's death on Luke! Like he didn't think of that on his own most likely? To put that guilt on him is a crippling blow to him. What a horrible mom. I'm glad he has Erie and Derrick and Jameson. he will need it. Hope this make someone think sadly it happens all too often. Don't Drink and/or Drive while Intoxicated everybody! It is always 'oh, it won't happen to me.' And yet so many die or are irreparably damaged every day this way. Lookin forward to more.

Don't trust that colonel. He is up to something.. I really think he's after what Dan knows/can do and then will throw him out. The kid is too smart for him. He is setting him up for failure...but it doesn't make sense. Dan has something to offer. Does he figure once Dan sets it up, he can throw him out and the spirulina will continue to grow? Definitely not trusting him! And what is up with Grey? I think his wife is an infected. Is it possible she is holed up somewhere and he goes to 'visit' her? The wife he knew would be dead. The infected version isn't her, but clearly he is someone who can't let go. But, what could he have on the Colonel that would cause him to let Grey keep his wife 'alive.' We know the guy isn't a soft touch. I hate to think Mark and Tristan are going b/c Dan will have his attention split between them, wanting to protect them both. We saw how he risked his life to save Mark and he will only work just as hard, if not harder, to keep Tristan alive. Can't wait for more! Keep it coming I kinda hated the title b/c it gave me a false hope that Mark would put some truth out there that would surprise us. It was only Dan reasserting the truth of his feelings for Mark. Too bad.

Hmm...I like the way you did this chapter b/c it shows the (this isn't the perfect word--been unable to sleep so can't come up with better) instability in Yuri. It shows that he is kind of going back and forth between the Alpha-like tendencies and the hurt child he was after Sheshtun's first attack. fearless and then like a child later. I am a bit wary about one falcon showing up. Why wouldn't he have the falcon's available minus the shot ones to protect them? I doubt even if they looked at multiple places any would go alone.

Then end was a long time coming for me. I began reading this on lit when you first posted it. I enjoyed this a lot, but I feel like a lot was left unsaid. I know you started the first chap of the new story. I don't know if it is a continuation or not. Who would challenge Angus for leadership? didn't the all of the wolves need an alpha who could join the groups? Is travis too old to re-take that position? I thought it was a bit crazy that Pop and Travis wouldn't tell the boys what Dylan was. especially when he was so sick the first time. travis was watching him with Betty and Gene, but didn't tell Jon what was going on?? And they knew Dylan would change soon, so when did pop plan to tell his son that his grandson was a solaris? I kinda don't understand why still keep secrets at that point. the boys wouldn't have let him go anywhere alone...oh wait, they were dumbasses to do so to begin with. they knew someone was out to get him. I hope we get more of these characters. They were fun, lovable, interesting, etc.

still enjoying this one and excited to see new chapters show up. I am unsure about Mark and what he feels. I seem to think he doesn't have more than friendship/brotherly feelings for Dan, but who knows. I will have to wait to see where you go with it. I am glad you had him save Grey. That resolved itself a lot easier than I expected. Iwonder what the colonel wants from them? I am curious why you haven't spoken about the job that the others, including mark, have in going out of the school to find stuff. That would be crazy dangerous. look what it took for them to get here. Are they still going out?

Very interesting...but what a cruel twist of fate if these two will never be human or wolf at the same time. I have to say that I wasn't sure what you would do and why 'Buddy' who showed certain humanlike characteristics, was a wolf all the time...but I have to say you surprised me with his becoming boris. I like how you had the change be a messy/painful affair. Werewolf stories always make it like this magical, shimmering of the air and there is the werewolf...or you hear some cracking and growls at most...I think it seemed more realistic and I'm a fan of different ways of seeing stuff in stories. Anyway, I can't wait to see Boris' story. And why is it reversed? I feel badly for Oli. the way is father treated him is sad. I hope he's a better owner than a father for the sake of Anastasia. he seems like a jerk.

holy shit...that was a really dark and mean thing to do. he just got his brother back. he is going to probably feel like if he'd stayed home, his brother wouldn't have gone out and would be alive. I have to say....you wrote that in a way that had a visceral effect on me as I read it. I felt like I was standing there and thought about how horrifying it would be. I really felt pulled into the story to feel the pain Luke would. I am not sure why you'd do that to Luke, but I will hang on b/c I like the other characters. I give you credit for the ability to affect your readers so..I still am thinking 'poor Luke. This morning he had such a good moment with his brother. they were like they had been when they were younger...recapturing that close relationship. To wake up in the morning and have that gift and lose it right after dinner literally...wow!' the fact he had made it through war did make it worse. i'm glad it's only in a story. But, being affected emotionally as a reader is a sign of a good author so whether I liked the direction the story took or not, you get credit for that! I am glad he will have jameson and erin and derrick's, etc. support to get through this. He will need it.

cia, that was a tease. I thought we'd find something out about what crazy papa tiger was doing (aside from the obvious of trying to make little alpha babies using his sons). Moreso, wouldn't Yuri kinda be upset being taken by his father again and he and his mate being in a bad re-play of what happened the first time that left him in the shape he's in? You'd think it would have jogged memories of the first time they were taken by the father. I still have no idea why yuisi's mate would be watching yuri and marking the area he was sitting and watching him from at the hawk's compound and then attacking the guys later....what did that have to do with the father keeping Yuisi and him hostage? Why would his father even let the mate go out of his sight at all? I also hope we start seeing the guys move forward in their relationship. They can't catch a break. Poor Yuri is constantly having to be cared for and you know Benny doesn't mind...it's clear how much he loves him, but I wonder if Yuri feels like a burden? It seems that the guys had not met that much before they mated and then the shit hit the fan when the dad kidnapped them. I am sure they have more to learn about one another. I hope they get it now. Also, will they get their lives calm enough to consider forming a clan? Afterall, Jared, his mate and Yuri and Benny are a good start and it seems like the father's clan members will need leadership after Yuri's dad is neutralized. I hope that doc gets some recognition, too, for helping them escape as well as wanting to do everything to stop the father. he was brave. Looking forward to next week.

I really hope you don't take a break for so long between posts again. I had to start at the beginning...i'm enjoying the story a lot though. I love that things are getting more and more confusing. One thing I latched onto is that Neil is showing wounds Gabe gets. That has to have something to do with the fact that Guardians experience that. I think Neil is Scott's son too which complicates things. So if he is half wolf, can he be a guardian to a jarkla? but he's half jarkla too...has that even happened before? With power hungry alphas raping jarklas to force guardianships during history, a half wolf/half jarkla child should have existed before. Did Gabriel give Neil anything? a gift that could have started a bond. if not, what is causing him to have Gabriel's wounds? Why are they so close...Gabriel has taken to him more than just as a favor to his mom. As for choosing between the alphas... I think Orion said it himself...he felt a more fatherly role I think...I think he saw himself protecting him but not as a lover. I think that Scott may not be his guardian, but maybe a lover. They have chemistry based on shared experience which can be a strong bond, esp for a teen who has never felt understood. Now he finds someone who can understand him and vice versa. Add to that his Jarkla need to help and protect animals and that makes a fixer-upper like Scott an attractive deal. I have to give it to you...you have joined a select few who could turn a detestable character like Scott around and make the reader feel badly for him or come to like him even. That was so sick that he killed that poor omega. I wanted to turn my head away....what a fucking sicko....yet later on in a few chapters, i'm feeling badly him and for what made him this way and even think he might be a match for Gabriel who might be able to turn him around fully, like he's already started to. Tristan is the wrench thrown in for me. I think he truly loves Gabriel. I think he truly wants to be his guardian. I like that Gabriel wants to know him better. I felt badly that due to circumstances, Tristan felt like he didn't have a chance to prove himself to Gabriel. it's mature of Gabriel to want to know him like he knows the others. He could have just dismissed him since he has bonds with others that aren't with their feral only. he could have told himself he was attracted to the wolf b/c he's a jarkla and he didn't know he was creating a bond when he gave him the collar. Tristan has been so loyal. He never even stopped with the death of his father, to take a minute away from his search for Gabriel. he ran all over the country to find him...haven't these wolves ever heard of cars lol? I found it really interesting that his father was a guardian! We hadn't heard that. What happened to his Jarkla? did he not guard her well enough? Shouldn't Gareth be in the abyss as a guardian? Or did his jarkla not make it there? the guardian contest is complicated by the fact that they can have two guardians....could he have multiple ones? This XaisXais thing is weird. Now that he knows Luke is a block to him and his telepathy, it will be suicide to take him with him. He's going to ruin his getaway if he can't get help b/c the cause of his block is with him. Also, that info he started getting about jarklas who knew Xais becoming hunters is weird. Did the hunters plant him to watch over Gabriel? One thing I have to say is how stupid is Gabriel to talk out loud to those in his mindlinks? If you can think the thoughts, why constantly get caught talking to yourself and giving yourself away to those who know what you are. Duh (smacking the back of his head) Well, kick ass story so far. can't wait for more. Don't make us wait a year to see a new chapter. pleaasssseeee

can't wait to see how dinner goes, poor erie is probably so strung out. Why didn't he introduce his boyfriend to his brother? wasn't he supposed to be all proud of Erie and excited/unsure to see his brother's reaction? I love these two and Jameson makes it really funny...they all work well together

I was hoping to see a new chapter sometime soon. It had been a while. It was worth it. I laughed at the clashing personalities. so, I hope we get told more about what Takashi is. if he's a shapeshifter, then why is guy calling him a demon? takashi is always good for information on the paranormal. he cleared lots up for them in Chicago. Anyway, it was really funny to see the clash. paranormal or not, guys will posture huh! I was glad to see Guy hold is own against Takashi. takashi seems to be pretty powerful and old, so I was worried for poor young Guy. Glad to see he gave as good as he got. I laughed when Riley showed up too. I hope he and Mick can be friends and he can help Mick out. Mick will need Takashi and Riley in his life if he's to figure out more about who he is and what that means for him. I think Riley and Takashi could be god for one another though. They share their affinity for bdsm. We shall see. Mick was hilarious when he went and got the hose. that sorted things out well since no one would have listened to reason. It was annoying when he didn't say anything to clear things up when Takashi assumed Guy was 'the door.' but it was worth it to see that fight, I bet it should be an interesting party when Mick comes out of the bathroom. Now we have to see if he insists on letting the guys protect him from lester, but I have a feeling he won't let anyone fight his battles. And lester is too much of a pussy to approach him when he's not alone. Hope to see more before so much time passes!

I'm surprised Yuri hasn't jumped his mate by now! I can understand Benny being afraid to do anything too soon. The part with Leeland was so cute and I love Cleara. I'm only wondering now, what the hand signals were. Is the Tiger back? If so, Yuri needs to know too. I am wondering how Yuri is going to respond to memories of what happened to them. Shouldn't Benny warn him that the events put him in a state where he had to go to the Falcons? The dice thing was so funny. I like seeing more and more of Yuri's personality coming out.

Very sweet story. I'd only have liked to see a peak into their 'hate' period...maybe a scene in school or some times at home. The description of the first night they met was a tiny peak and interesting. I thought it was sad that Dallas said they weren't a family. I know he didn't want to see D as his brother, but they were a family of sorts. It was sad that he said that to Sandra. They could be a family of sorts and still be together given they weren't related. The rest of the story was great. I thank you for adding to my vocabulary also with the description of his character as a pangolin ...lol that was a new one to me...those little ant-eater like things are cute.

I haven't read your work before and hope you don't take my comment wrong. I tend to comment like I am beta reading. I feel like you're speeding up with each chapter and can sense you are excited to tell the story, but I feel like it is causing you to speed through parts and not give the rich details that were in the first chapter. I feel like there is a lot that could be clarified by slowing down and developing the parts more. I hope this is taken in the spirit is meant, which is only to help as you go forward. I'd like to see you slow down a bit and continue expanding the characters and their relationships. Maybe hear stories from the older men to explain things. I'd like to know how they can possibly know his potential level when the basis the ability is 'graded upon' is not able to be tested in space. I also would love to know more about the families and how they communicate and meet as I mentioned in last chapter. You had an opening with the discussion about the boys' father being from another family. Some other things I'd have liked to see expanded would be how this new understanding of his father could change how he reacts to his power. I'd be interested if the surrogates used to have his father and himself had to have any specific characteristics to help pass the abilities down? When he speaks of keeping his shields down, I assume it is to prevent so much info from barraging his mind rather than protecting his own mind from his grandfather and father and their mates, right? Is Drew related to his grandfather? Why was there a benefit to matching within families? It seems pretty clear that there is an attempt being made to pair his cousins with him given his father having been 'matched' with Kane. Since that wasn't expanded upon, we never knew why or how they were matched. But, I'd think he'd want to know if the same is being attempted behind the guise of their being on the edge of their abilities coming on. He is pretty analytical clearly and would come to the same questions I'd think. It continues to be an interesting story. I hope you can try to slow down and draw us in a bit deeper with scenes that aren't as rushed as they feel and maybe a bit more details and questions from him. I'd think he'd have had questions as he settled into his powers that would help the reader to understand things better.

I am enjoying the story, though the pace kinda slowed down in this chapter. I'd have liked to see it stay raised a bit more...maybe the amount of new info being greater or the events that took place or things revealed be a bit more exciting, though his telekinetic abilities are a surprise. Maybe getting to know the grandfather and his mate a bit more would have helped. How did they meet? Were they paired up? Do we see a possible foreshadowing with the cousins being talked about after we find out that Kade is a cousin and was a match made for him? What did that mean anyhow? Was he just introduced or was he told that they would be together? What do they mean by matched up? You get the feeling that he was angry b/c he felt forced into a relationship. But, that is just an impression I get. We never were told, through Abel's readings, why he was introduced to Kade as a match? Was it to insure he was with another telepath? I'm wondering how the other families communicate? It can't be telepathically b/c of the relative limits of their abilities. They certainly can't talk across space. They wouldn't be able to communicate with technology clearly, for risk of discovery. Is there a meeting of the families somewhere? Also, I am surprised the others haven't gone past that 1kilometer point to see if he could communicate with another telepath outside of that. Yes, he saw the others on the ship past that distance, but doesn't the level of the telepath specify the ability to communicate with another telepath at that distance? I would really like to know how strong a telepath he is if possible. I assume it could be tested when they reach their destination and can get off the ship to put the distance between them to test his strength and establish his level of telepathic ability. I am intrigued by his telekinetic powers, but wouldn't it stand to reason that if he can't let anyone know about it, couldn't the other families have kids with that ability that they told to hide it from the world? It would stand to reason that it wouldn't be revealed if anyone had that ability.

I missed this gem somehow and am glad I checked it out. Really interesting. Definitely caught my imagination. I like the details with technical explanations and the space information....details like that always make stories more interesting. They grab the imagination and paint more of a picture for you. I like how you put a background in on the effects of events on the human population. The telepathic part was out of no where and I really want to know when that was introduced into the human population as a genetic possibility. Was it common? How did the men find other telepaths to mate with? Why was the poor kid considered an ice prince when no one was allowed to come on to him. If he sensed he was 'off limits' certainly that wasn't imagined. So, why would he be considered the ice prince? I hope he will meet someone, though I know the incestual thread is still out there. I look forward to whatever is in store since this was a great beginning.

Was surprised to see this one. I look forward to seeing this guy get his shit together. Huh, I didn't remember Danny admitting to being a little tease like that. He did nothing with him after all those months? What the heck did they do? Just hang out? I have to go back and re-read the first chapter or so to see what he says about the ex. I have to be honest, he seems to like the big guys a lot too. he doesn't just like the Danny and Ian types. He seems to have gone off on a little trip when talking about Jake and then noticing his friend, Carl too. You sure Ian will be the one to catch his attention? look forward to more.

I don't trust this Mason. I think Alex would be much better off with Paolo. I think Paolo was trying to take it slow and build something with him and didn't expect Alex to meet someone. I'm hoping he will save poor Alex from himself when we get back to the present. There is that chance since he lives near him at home. I hope we get to that soon I'm quickly over Mason and hope he is too! (chanting) Paolo, Paolo, Paolo!!!

So when will we find out why he's in a half-way house? Unless it's different in AU. I assume you are talking about a place for kids who have no parents? Or is it like here that you go in after you get into trouble with the law or after you come out of a drug/alcohol rehab? Man, those Tim Tams are good lol My new sis-in-law from AU gets them for us. I'd have liked to find out what happened to his parents. Jarrod seems like a nice guy. The whole thing with the guy who is paying him for pics is strange. Why isn't Paul wondering how the hell they found him and know so much about him? Shouldn't he be freaked out? I assume he's going to end up on that website when he next logs on. It would explain the pics and why they knew he uses the site. It almost seems like the other guys at the half-way house are in on it. But, prob just kids being kids.
