I enjoyed this story so much. Such an epic! Great characters. I was surprised Yoshi and Telia didn’t have more kids. I was also surprised that Yoshi tried to keep Telia at the palace — he was without his love for a year and fell apart while Telia was gone for FIVE!! The wedding vows were suspiciously modern, BTW. LOLLLLL I look forward to what you give us next. Your voice and subjects are refreshingly different.

I’m with you. What I’m wondering about is, ok, they have the hots for each other. It takes more than mutual attraction to build a sustainable relationship ... especially with so much bad blood in the past.

I’m amazed Brady kept his glasses on through all the hotness! Bet they’re bent the eff up after that sex nap.

It’s interesting that the captain thinks Kohen face is so expressive, because Kohen can only move his eyeballs. I think part of it is he’s feeling Kohen’s emotions through their bond.

This chapter didn’t advance the story much. I don’t think it’s necessary to go into so much detail when recounting experiences from another point of view. To me, the chapter was just getting interesting when Brady knocked on the door, so I was surprised it stopped there.

I hope you consider writing vignettes from their lives. I’m curious how the D/S aspect works with kids around.

Good twist. Imagine how much those protective filaments would grow if they had sex! IJS. Cia, you slipped and called Aparoe “she.” Funny, because I was thinking of them being closer to male.

Soooooo I’m not understanding Cameron’s role in all this. Is Cameron bi? Gay? Was he out as either in high school? Was he a gay basher like Brady? What’s the story with him and Justin? Cameron all light and laughter — was he like this in high school? He’s not suffering the way Brady is, and I need to know why.

Really good chapter. But ... I thought Mike and Adam’s dad were arguing over who got to shoot at the cops. I didn’t get the impression the boys were the targets at all. Did I miss something? Also, I’m surprised the Connellys didn’t take Troy and Adam to the hospital.

Just reread this chapter again and reminded myself of a comment I wanted to make earlier: It’s a lovely sign of how much Adam has grown that, when confronted with two large juniors, he was the one to speak first and introduce himself and Troy. And as the story progresses, Troy is more and more willing to share the spotlight of popularity ... and let his boyfriend take the lead. Adam hasn’t realized his growing power yet.

I’m irritated (triggered?) by comments like Ember should “let it go” or ”move on” or “get over it.” At this stage, why should he believe what everyone says about Brady — including Brady? It’s going to take time. If he chose to never be more than civil with Brady (yes, I know he’ll do more), that would be his right. We never know what someone else has gone through ... and how we treat each other has lasting effects.

Actually, I wish the Wednesday briefers would reconsider the length and up it 250-500 words. Might help avoid weird stops.
