    Chapter 44

I hope it was the guard who got his neck snapped was the one who called the captain an old fool. On the other hand, it would be even better, if he got to suffer first.

    Chapter 8

Yeah, I assumed at much, and my idea was that the PA would tell the players they wouldn't defend or help them if the clubs hit them with suspension or fines for crossing the line. It would reinforce the message.

    Chapter 8

Sigh, I agree with Charlie about wishing to avoid the public trial, but considering the likely fate of a known pedophile in prison, I'm not surprised Rollingford will fight to the end to avoid a conviction. I've heard (about Danish prisons) that rapists of children are at absolute rock bottom of the prison pecking order and will often have to chose voluntary confinement to avoid being harassed, beaten up or worse. Not that they don't deserve it at times, especially serial predators like this guy. Clarissa is clever to understand Mason's loneliness and how he's tempted to use money as a way to get close to people. I think Jeremy is right about the other motivation of letting his parents 'pay.' Not that I blame him, but I hope Mason has learned a lesson about privacy and how to avoid letting his father know where he's been and what he's doing. I also found Mason's father's assumptions about his prospective flat mates somewhat offensive. It's OK to want to know more about them, but the way he's going about it pissed Mason off and I'm not surprised. Clarissa's concerns and comments were much more to the point, and I wonder if Mason is ready to offer Kevin the master bedroom if and when Daphne moves in. I'm sure she'll be delighted to be near Clarissa, and she'll probably go home with her often and wait for Kevin. I hope she'll 'come out' to Clarissa soon, because while she may be bossy and at times abrasive, she is a great ally. It will be good to see all the Leopards together, although the occasion is sad. I wonder if the brat will wrangle a day of training at Carlton for Deon, just to confuse the media. But I guess Ty is right about the bigger danger being rumors on social media and other unregulated sites. In Denmark the court can do a 'closed doors' or even ''double closed doors' trial, which means the media are prohibited from reporting the names of those involved and details of what they said. But of course, that can't prevent speculation. I hope the Leopards removed the mention of Dave's breakdown from their home page, since most outside people have probably forgotten. I hope the Players' Association will send a joint message with all the clubs that anyone caught speculating in public or mentioning the matter during games will be suspended and fined by both, if possible.
  4. Thanks You can see the other stories, I've reviewed, in my blog.
  5. Ohhh, of course, now I remember. Yeah, she was really cool and helpful in Book 1 - maybe that's why I didn't think of her as scary.
  6. I think I need to go back and read book 3, because I can't remember who 'Ginger' is, unless it's Victoria.

    Chapter 9

Those four boys definitely have a special bond. There's nothing wrong with cuddling and perhaps a few kisses if you're a shifter, but their mutual attraction goes further.

    Chapter 8

Quint is so sexy when he's angry and in charge.
  9. Another option in relation to stories is to check the box saying Do not send me any notifications, when you press the Follow button on a story. That's what I do, if my purpose in following is to return to read again and show others the story is a favorite.

    North

I don't know why I never commented on this chapter. But after reading the whole story again I'm feeling all warm and over the great life and love they share. I hope you'll return soon and share more wonderful stories with us.
  11. Interesting start. I was a bit confused about the house descriptions, but I finally worked out this is a street with similar condos, and the one he sees on the internet is not the same as the house he dreams about, but further up or down the street.
  12. No, that's not it. And you may have read it on LitE, but it's probably not there anymore. I don't think it's Kidnapping is always an option. But both stories are worth reading. I can't come up with a possible story, but the description does ring a bell.
  13. August 9th - that means you have a fifth anniversary soon. Tillykke ! GA is richer and warmer with your presence. Hope all goes well in the hospital. God bedring from Danmark.

    Chapter 7

I can see the button too, on the main story page. It's not present on the chapter pages. Could this be the solution?
  15. I'm glad Preston avoided going out with the girls. Indie to the rescue, lol. And having lots of friends round is a great distraction and support for Cory.
  16. Wolfie won both Alpha rounds without even being present.
  17. I still go all when Efrain says the magic words: "We'll take her."
  18. Sigh, reading this chapter again makes me miss the EPIC guys even more. Efrain and Cody are perfect together.
  19. Brainy is hot ! And this chapter was so hot it must have left me unable to rite a coherent comment the first time I read it.

    Chapter 7

I had exactly the same thought. But I think the real risk will be the Sydney Mardi Gras. There will be intense media focus on all the AFL players marching. If Mason and Daphne are there, I expect two loads of sh*t to hit the fan. I hope Daphne has come out to her new friends before then, and I anticipate Mason's parents to have a fit, if the pictures are seen by their homophobic church supporters. (I also expect Graeme to start accusing me of breaking in to his story notes again. )

    Chapter 7

True, I hadn't thought about that. And of course, Mason is right about not wanting to get anyone's hopes up. His parents may not want to buy the apartment if it's too expensive. But the owner might agree to a four year lease, if they cannot get it sold. Especially if they're AFL fans.
  22. Now I'm not sure whether to PM you or comment here. Anyway, as a writer, reader and editor I can relate to a lot of what you're saying. I may not agree with every detail, but you're right about us having to think about how to criticize constructively and receive criticism with an open mind.

I'm surprised Pip didn't want to jump in the tank with the Sepia fish. But the diver might have been surprised at the extra intelligent cuttlefish suddenly investigating him or her.

    A New Horizon

Well done on a great story. I enjoyed it, and I'm glad Trick finally had the love and success he deserved.
  25. I'm glad Cody liked his surprise party. Personally, I'd hate having that done to me.
