    Chapter 1

I'm glad the story started out with a flash-back so we don't have to worry about the three team mates exploiting Marcus. Rather, he seems to be the perfect fourth musketeer whole makes the relationship solidify into something more than sex and bromance. I look forward to seeing where this go. Welcome back, Sasha, you sure made your entrance with a huge bang.
  2. I was thinking Geoff's hesitation to come out to his mother was due to his insecurities, so it was both interesting and sad to discover his instincts about her was spot on. Suddenly, his choice to stay in the closet was clever rather than cowardice. At least he now has Tony (and his sister) to be his family, and both of them as well as his friend (Helen?) will try to convince Geoff his mother is a hateful, nasty woman who should be apologizing a hundred times over before he considers seeing her again. what a horrible hag, I bet she nagged her husband to death.

    Chapter 24

I know exactly what you mean. I may have to quote you in my own unfinished stories.

    Chapter 11

As far as I remember the story with the pretty blond actress, she wasn't as dumb as most of the other guests assumed. But only Miss Marple realized what her story was about.
  5. yeah, that's what I thought might be the case. I tried to find the blog / topic where you explained how to make a series (post story two and give it a series name and no 2, and then go back to story one and name it as no 1 in the same series) but I couldn't find it. Can you post a link here ? Although, perhaps it's not necessary if the new system gets rolled out in October.
  6. If you ask @Cia or @Myr nicely, they may help you fix the problem, if it's technically possible without losing likes and comments. It would look cool to have Things We Found as a second book. Myr helped me get my four connected stories into one series, but they were already separate.
  7. Which is why I shut up about the rsw topic. But I can still relish you nagging poor Dodger about it.

    Chapter 11

Game, set and match to Ehren against the social worker, I'm cool with that. She should concede defeat and ask the person Ehren trusts to take over. Oh and I hope Ehren gets the better of the nasty Ms Archer too. Emily did a good job of making Tris see how big a deal it was, and Ehren managed to make his feelings known too. And using this as a possible present solves the other worry too, since he's apparently not sensible enough to talk to Tris about it. I hope Tris and Piper's parents are kind and clever enough to apologize and admit they were wrong and treated Ehren badly. If so, he'll probably forgive them eventually.
  9. I think Paul realized he would be stuck with the bickering full-time if he moved in, and the fear of where it might lead was too much. However, getting the reason out in the open meant Chris was suddenly aware of the problem and could commit to helping his boyfriend. They both need to make an effort to changing the pattern, but I think they have a good chance.
  10. I know - but then why not simply list it as Things We Lost by Dabeagle ? Why include the Book 1 part ? In fact, why is there a series name, when there is only one story ? Isn't that against GA story rules? I'm guessing @Dabeagle meant to make a new story, but somehow ended up posting more chapters to the old one.

    Chapter 9

of course - and I've edited my comment accordingly.

    Chapter 9

Poor Ben, he's not having an easy time, even if he's enjoying Mitchell's company. I'm glad Helena smacked Ollie, who should have known better than to tease Ben like that. I'm hoping Ben's wrong about the potential reaction of his father, but maybe not. In which case his reluctance to get a boyfriend is perfectly understandable. However, it's one thing to react violently to the news when Ben is present and another for his father to sustain the anger enough to travel all the way to Melbourne to take it out on his son. Puts the crime into 'premeditated' too. Karen has great instincts. Daphne is indeed very fragile, but we know Kevin is both besotted and protective. Clarissa will make an extra effort to befriend Daphne after the talk with Karen and she'll be better prepared when Daphne comes out to her. I hope it happens soon, because it will also mean Daphne has come to trust Clarissa. They could become great friends if that happens. Mason and Dexter have good instincts too. It's good for Mason to find a surrogate family and new friends, and I have the feeling he might decide to stay in Sydney, if he also manages to find a serious boyfriend before his four years are over. In that case his parents have lost him for good, but they might be relieved, especially if his mom continues in politics. I found it a bit funny how Deon was worried about the consequences for him and Kevin, when Mason should be worried about the possibility of him getting publicity from associating with football players. But wait, he doesn't know about the need to keep a low profile, since his parents foolishly didn't tell him - and on the other hand, it's no harm done, since the bad guys already know where he is, and are probably planning to drug-kill the guy who shot Robbie, rather than kill Mason to protect him. I should have guessed Ty would find a way to gatecrash the party. But I can't fault him for wanting to help Dave. If Clarissa hasn't started university yet, I'm sure she'll be happy to let Deon pay for her to accompany him to Melbourne. She can visit friends and family while he trains with Ty and Jim at Carlton.
  13. Shouldn't that be Things We Found by Dabeagle Book 2 of Things We Lost ?
  14. You forgot the most important part. Were the courses interesting, and did you enjoy yourself ?
  15. Paul will regret his decision to spill his evil deeds in order to crow over Ember, but we're pleased the truth came out. Although, it seems rather weird Brady let himself be seduced by a woman when he had plans to tell Ember how he felt. But perhaps Ember had been chased away from the party or told Brady he hated him ?
  16. Yes, exactly. I've mentioned the retired social worker in several comments to previous chapters, but both Robbie and Dodger seem to have forgotten all about the potentially helpful resource.
  17. I'm glad you keep on mentioning it, because I've given up asking for this, since Dodger ignores me. But I agree wholeheartedly.

    Chapter 10

I like sensible, clever women - and ditto men.
  19. That's probably the best argument I've seen for Robbie getting together with Alex. But I bet Alex won't do anything which might cost Luke a place to stay, so he'd insist on keeping it secret. As for Robbie he should focus on consolidating his friendships, including Daniel, and forget about boyfriends for a while. However, if Don starts talking about girls, Robbie should tell him he'd rather sell his body to men on the streets than date a girl again. I love every moment he fights his stupid bigoted foster parents, and I keep hoping he'll tell some of the sympathetic adults at school how awful it is to live in a home where he's not respected as gay.

    Chapter 10

Ugh, I hate silly girls with silly rules about dating. But I'm surprised Ehren isn't clever enough to ask the two sensible girls he knows (Piper and Beth) about the anniversary thing - or even better ask Tris, who will soon sort it out. I completely agree with Ehren's opinion of the social worker, and I noticed Beth didn't give an opinion either way. I'd have thought better of her if she had advicsd Ehren to tell the nosy woman why her behavior upsets him and how he expects to be treated if he's to accept her 'help.' As for Tim, Ehren is quite right to give him the cold shoulder, but he should tell Tris about the encounter. The coach should be treated as if they didn't know each other, just as Ehren did at first.
  21. It's probably because my Sunday comes earlier than yours.
  22. It's Sunday in Denmark now. So where's the next chapter ?

I'm glad Zane said the L word back. Chocolate and sex were great antidotes to the shark scare. But they should perhaps try to ask for explanations when they don't understand, rather than resort to body language.
  24. I'm shrugging my shoulders over the whole teen relationship drama. The only reason I want Robbie to keep Nathan as a boyfriend is to stop Sue and Don from being even more oblivious and obnoxious about Robbie being gay. I loved the initial conversation between Robbie and Nathan about Sue's stupid comment regarding Stephanie. And I don't blame Robbie for losing his temper and swearing at Sue, i just wish he'd do it about important stuff like her not accepting he's gay. I still wish he'd reply to her casual inquiry about school with : "I always prefer being at school, because at least there people accept I'm gay. And the adults are supportive, unlike here."
  25. I love the way Ehren considers every angle and tells the nosy and bossy grown-ups to take a hike. But the social worker may actually be able to help him, even if he doesn't trust her. I especially like the way he keeps his mouth shut in company of other students unless he wants to reply.
