    Daniel

Maybe Daniel could borrow a T-shirt which Michael has worn and sleep with that as a comfort. But it would be embarrassing to ask. I can understand why Daniel didn't tell about Loz right then, but he'll have to do so, if Loz tries anything when he gets back.

    Three Things

Ahh, those regrets, they continue to plague us, don't they. Beautifully written, Thorn.
  3. Uhm, Gary - you know that's where your children are heading, right ? Worrying about their dad falling off ladders etc.

    Santa's Visit

Hey Carlos, how come this is no longer Colt and Tony ? Not that the story isn't great in this version too. And I still have to concentrate to work out who says what, especially in the last part. Jordan is the blond farmer boy from Iowa, right ?

    Grandma's 80th

LOL, not if he pretended to be getting married to a Denny or Benny or Kenny instead of Wendy.

    Chapter 15

Yep, that's exactly the incident I was thinking about as a possible explanation for Ty's wince. I'm glad it was only a bad memory and not a sign of a current issue.

    Chapter 14

I guess Mason and his father aren't that different. They don't trust each other and keep their own counsel. I didn't mean for Mason to talk about Dave, only to say Deon wasn't the one involved. But perhaps it wouldn't be impossible for a chance comment by Mason's father to a reporter to get into the news feed and thus undo the protection of Dave.

    Grandma's 80th

Well, preventing Stinky from getting his hands on Cederwood seems to be a valid reason for the charade, but I still wish Trout had managed to sort out the mistake - and that June hadn't involved Marissa later.

    Chapter 15

I've no complaint about you ignoring real-world events, I just wanted something big to take the attention away from the trial, but there was nothing international for the end of January and start of February. Of course, I don't know if there was any juicy Australian scandal to grab the media. Uhm - I don't understand the latter part of your explanation, Ty did go with Deon and Clarissa to the airport. The incident I'm thinking about is this: But perhaps it was simply Ty remembering Karen being upset with him, when he tried to dominate her at the beginning of their relationship.

    Chapter 15

I better get my comment in early this week, so I can hope for a reply. It would be nice if Ollie grew up a bit, but at least Charlie wasn't there to be embarrassed too. It was bad enough for Ben who's still trying to be comfortable with the whole boyfriend idea. It won't be easy for Mason to get Ben to spend time with him in public, because they'll stand out together as a couple, especially if they're with Jim or Ross. And we've just seen another bad consequence of Mason's parents not telling him the truth - it's too easy for the nasty guys to check him out. Robbie was a lot more clever in his disappearing act. I'm almost surprised Deon wasn't approached by more people, but at least the couple who did were not too bad. Hopefully, the trial will soon be over and the attention will be on the bad guy getting what he deserves. Or some other big news will grab the headlines - anything big happen in early February 2015 ? Hmm not really according to Wikipedia, and I guess the Valentine's Day shootings in Copenhagen may not have been big news in Australia and is to far in the future anyway. It was nice to see Mason being integrated in the Leopard family, it's just what he needs, and Julia is like the big sister he's never had. I'm not sure she'll approve if Mason moves in with Ben while he's in Melbourne. It would be too distracting. But someone will probably help out, since that's what Leopards do. And Mason won't be happy if his stupid father starts asking about him staying at a hotel i Melbourne for three weeks. PS What was up with the brat when he was seeing Deon and Clarissa off ? I know you can't tell me, but will we find out eventually ?

    Coffee With Doug

Well, at least Trout has the same objections as you, so he's not as bad as Doug. And perhaps Doug has had some bad experiences (his sister's friends) which makes him hate females or at least not care about them in abstract. I think he's joking more than seriously planning a scam.

    Michael

OMG his friends knew - I hadn't seen that coming. They were awesome.

    Sole Mates

Wow, what a story - but how come people thought he was dead ? Did somebody steal his wallet and car and crash it ?

    Chapter 14

I'm a little surprised Mandy actually believed the rumors, but at least Sam got her calmed down. It's a good thing Deon's dislike of gay men was a private thing until resolved, or it would be seen as confirmation. Why didn't Mason tell his father Deon wasn't the real victim, but simply a smoke screen ? Hopefully, he'll be able to do it next time they talk and in a way which will embarrass the idiot in a big way. Even if Mason was mistaken about how his dad knew about Dexter, he's still being an obnoxious parent by assuming he has any right to approve of Mason's friends or boyfriends. I think most of the media people know it's not Deon, and they're not going to make the mistake of naming him or anyone else, since the AFL will fall on the culprits like a ton of bricks and make sure they're charged if possible. All the clubs should make a public statement that anyone who names any of the victims should be considered illoyal to the sport and social media shamed by real fans. I'm glad Dave managed to get through the court testimony with no immediate bad reaction. The support of his club and the Leopards have clearly helped, but it won't be over until Rollingford gets what he deserves. Let's hope there are plenty of inmates who like football when he goes to prison. Child molesters are always at the bottom of the pecking order and serves them right. I'd be fine with him getting a taste of what his victims went through. Deon did a good job on helping Jordan, but I'm slightly confused about why anyone would consider it OK to make nasty remarks to Jordan about this. Would they do the same if his sister had been raped as a kid and was now testifying ? Or is this just because Jordan has been boasting too much about Deon, so they want to shut him up ? Anyway, I hope Ty and Jim do go to Jordan's school if needed, to give the celebrity fools something else to talk about. Finally, I'm delighted Ben and Mason are attracted to each other, and not just physically. In a way I think it's good the distance will make them take it slow, because I think Ben may have found the guy he wants to come out for. But he needs to be careful and talk to his sister first. Also, they can skype talk on the phone so they can get to know each other, and Mason can visit Melbourne once a month. It will soon confirm him a part of the Leopard family.
  16. I sure would.
  17. You're welcome. Can I put one of my favorite SATW comics here ? https://satwcomic.com/no-surprise
  18. Thorn Wilde is a great guy in my mind, and I'll probably always think of you as he. But I'm happy to know you have the possibility to embrace your genderfluid personality in your life.

    Loz

I'm delighted Loz finally used his violent behavior for something useful. And Loz being suspended for two weeks is good too, so he can't harass Daniel. Let's hope the anger management therapist is clever enough to help with the issues he has.

Awww plus I'm relieved they got over the meet-the-parents event. laughter over Zane spanking the bully.

Well, at least Pip and Zane (and the dog) did rescue somebody, even if it wasn't Tilly. Hope the humans of the two stories meet eventually.
  22. And because they started out as social parasites who didn't pay for the resources they used (water, power, sewage etc) or followed laws or regulations. Several houses were built on the protected ramparts and natural habitats sometimes impacted. They attack the police and prevent justice. I'm a law abiding citizen and I despise the place.

    Story Blurbs

Now revise the new version again according to the recommendations in the blog. What is the result ? My suggestion would perhaps be although the last sentence may be way off. PS - Plus my version is probably not an improvement... PPS - why doesn't the post display my Reason for edit ?
  24. You can add Daniel and Nathan to the list, and of course the evil counselor.
  25. True, Jacob meant to work to increase the funds he already had saved up, but going camping prevented that. Isa will compensate him for the loss of income, and I guess I considered those money Jacob's. He planned to travel for at least a couple of months, as far as I recall, but you've read the story more recently than me. Christiania's reputation outside Denmark may be 'open weed trade' and hippies, but trust me, some of us have quite a different opinion of the place.
